We took the Magic out of Galveston on Jan 31, 6 nights. Our very first cruise ever! I see in your video that Tisa greets your family as you walk onto the ship. She was on our cruise and hosted all of the fun adult games/trivia in the After Hours part of the ship. We had a blast! Love your video!
Was there a height limit on the slides or could the parents go down with the kids? We’re going on the Disney magic w my 5 year old and 3 year old in sept and was just wondering
Great question! The big yellow slide in the kids area called Twist ‘n’ Spout has a 38” height requirement. Even though it’s in the kids pool area, anyone can ride it. The AquaDunk slide by the main pool area has a 48" height requirement. This is the one that has a trap door that opens and you fall through it onto the slide. We were so bummed that our 5 year old wasn’t tall enough for that one this time, but it’s something to look forward to for next time. Have so much fun on your cruise!!
Question!! The 2 year old traveling with you.. were they bored? How did he entertain? My youngest will be 2 with oldest 9! So worried it will be an issued finding acifvties for the youngest.. Shoukd I choose fantasy for this reason?
@toniyonish the pool situation on the Magic is definitely not great for un-potty-trained kids. There’s only a tiny splash pad area. They aren’t allowed in the area with the dumping water buckets and sprayers. Other than that, I would say the other areas are just as good as a larger ship. You can watch movies on the pool deck, meet characters, visit the kids club open houses, or use the nursery. And nap time also helps to break up the day!
There are no packages including spirits but you can get a beer or wine package. Beers are around $35 for a six pack or $100 for 3 bottles of wine. You’re allowed to bring your own beer OR wine onboard with you in certain quantities so I’d definitely go that route and save the money. Yeah it can get cold on the top deck at any time of year after the sun goes down. I think my husband was generally fine with the weather but I get chilly easier than he does. 🙂
@@AWholeNewellWorld Appreciate the fast response!!! The beer info is clutch! My wife drinks wine so we will bring a tad bit of both. Great video, you got a sub! Thanks
@@AWholeNewellWorld Yooooo, we got back a week ago! Had a great time! Drinks were high but bringing cups with lids were the best thing we could have done! The shows were great and we went to Mr Sanchos! Lots of great information in this vid that help the wife and kids out to plan! Thanks again!
It was the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa. It wasn’t an excursion so you’ll have to get your own transportation there, but the piña colada at the Coccoloba Bar was the BEST we’ve ever had. I want to go back just for that piña colada. 🤤

So fun!! Are any of the pools heated?
Yep, the pools on Disney Cruise ships are heated to at least 75°

We are going next January. Where did you go on day 3? My kids said it looked fun
The one with all the slides? It was Playa Mia Grand Beach for the Cozumel Beach Break. Amazing for kids!!
@A Whole Newell World Yes the one with the slides. Do I have to book it?
Yes it was a port adventure booked through Disney. I believe it was called Cozumel Beach Break.
Is that included or you have to pay an extra for it?
It’s a port adventure you have to pay to book.
Yo going in a few weeks, how much was the adult drink package? Also was it ever chilly on the top deck going to Mexico? THanks

Hey, what is the name of the resort/ beach you went to on day 4 in Grand Cayman?

What month did you sail on this cruise?
January!
where did you stop in cozumel?
We went to Playa Mia Grand Beach for the Cozumel Beach Break. Loved it!
Was that one of the adventures? If, so how much?
