    OMG I love that look I'm defo gunna try it I've been looking everywhere to find how to get those type of waves. Would this look work using a curling wand instead of a curling iron?

    To do a brush out and still have a bouncy Hollywood look with that long of a hair that doesn't stretch out to almost nothing, you have to set it for a long time I think. They did that with a wet set, you can almost recreate it with hot rollers or pin curling after heat styling like here but you need to let it sit for at least an hour I think, at least if you have really long and straight hair. They release the hair too soon, it's not going to hold.

  • @nada-fp1cx

    why did he dampen the brush that just ruins everything

    • @LizaLavolta
      @LizaLavolta 5 років тому +6

      You generally do that with pincurls to loosen the curl, but she didn't have a tight curl and the weight of her hair made that unnecessary. He did all the traditional steps for pincurls, but doesn't seem to understand their purpose or application.

      @@LizaLavolta He should have not alternated directions and let it set for at least an hour before releasing the hair and doing a brush out I think.

    That hairstyle is actually 50's stereotype,not real 1950's glam hair.First if all,the curl had to be way more tight,and lightly brushed out.Second,using some hairspray won't be bad. How pitty that teenagers are now going to think that this is a real 1950's hairstyle.Guys,please chill your t*ts,this is just my opinion.Don't take it to personally. Deal?
