glad you found value. I am just a regular guy, who probably like you was struggling to find content of the products. If you are strapping it to the outside of the backpack where its not directly against your back you will not notice the bump. I use KUIU 2300 icon pro pack, I slip in the meat hauler shelf between the frame and the pack its works nicely. Tethrd does too and is a little more sleekier. performance-wise, Mission has it beat. I actually find mself standing on it like a treestand platform more than anything. It is awesome and seems better built too. Comes with the Mission platform already installed. Its an added place for feet placement. Personally, I use it more than I originally thought. Hope this helps

How thick is the predator platform? I am asking the measurements from where it bolts to the post to the bottom of the platform.
Mission is old assault from lone wolf...i have both style lone wolf for 10-20 yrs...if i give saddle hunting a try again...will go with mission

Mission has zero flex. Rock solid. I’m 265 and it doesn’t flex.
