    I'd like to see this with the Super ATV long travel suspension kit.

    That's some cat you have. I seen a couple with snowmobile engines in them and they work awesome.

    Couple questions? What is the complete size of the tires on front and back? And do you need the spacers if you used the stock rim?

    Can always drop a arctic cat Firecat 1000cc 2-stroke monster in it! 😉

    Looks great! I’d leave those wheels on there with the spacers. If your concerned about them coming loose, run blue locktite on the inner ones. Yes, it’s harder on the wheel bearings. On a 1000 lb buggy, I wouldn’t fret it.

    Looks like it rides super smooth. I was close to buying one before I got the p500. Funny after all the mods and shocks. I think a stock cat will ride better lol.

    Looks mean AF now.. Will you widen the stance when you get the new tires or gonna try and keep it at 50" for ATV trails?

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  3 роки тому

      I’m not sure. I would like to keep it 50” but LOVE the look and feel of it how it is now at 53ish”.

    How did the X4 turn the 28s ? Im thinking of upgrading my Gen 1 wolverine. I don"t even mind the lack of power from my 708 but needing a 4 seater now. Dont think i could justify the Rmax.

      It turned them fine. I did have a performance sheave but lots of guys run 28” with no clutch work with zero issues. I would recommend changing out weights to get some off the line grunt back but not necessary.

      I have a video of installing the 28’s that I do dragy runs with several videos back and the results may surprise you

    Do you still have the cat? I don't see any newer content with it.

      I don’t. I traded it even up for the Can Am Outlander 1000 which I have since sold…lol.

    How many GoPros do you use and in your case what ones work best for you?

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  3 роки тому

      I have 3 GoPro’s. A hero 3+, hero 5 black, and a hero 8 black. Since I got the 8 it is what I use the most and is my main camera I do all my garage filming with too. The stabilization is out of this world with the 8! The 3 is what I usually strap to my helmet in ride videos as I have the large battery’s for it and can leave it film constantly all day but I’m thinking of picking up another 8 or a new 9 and doing away with the 3.

      @@AppalachianMountainRiders what are your thoughts on the drones that have been coming out lately? I've seen some good content added with other UA-cam channels. The auto following might add to when your solo filming too

      Funny you mention that because I’ve been researching the self following ones. Really liking the Skydio 2!
