What's crazy is that you and Boogie are not far in age. Yet personality wise, you and him are decades apart in terms of maturity. Boogie could learn a lot from someone with your work ethic and humility.

Saying Shannon is more mature and whatever you don't know that for certain could be a completely different person off the camera like most people are, they just fake it while the camera's on. The thing about fame is everybody loves you if you never make or show a mistake or never show your flaws but once you make one or show one everybody hates you and downvotes you to hell and you take endless criticism that's why I could never do UA-cam I couldn't be fake like that and pretend my life's perfect the reality is nobody's perfect and some people have it worse then others in life and in my opinion they shouldn't be judged for it it's just how things are always will be

    • @TheMexinadian
      @TheMexinadian Рік тому +7

He probably has, But i think he was able to keep it under control because he was married and had somebody to help him hold it together. Then he got divorced and doesn't have anybody to reassure him and keep him grounded. Not to mention his upbringing seemed to be horrible. All that brews into a massive cup of downward spiraling.

In the documentary, Mike does say he had to take a break from making it because it was too despressing.

I feel Boogie might have miscalculated with the documentary (which was one of the most entertaining I've ever seen). I enjoyed seeing Dr. Grande interviewed, and I believe Boogie is a vulnerable narcissist. He exploits his viewer base and is a pretty selfish person if he's indeed who he is in the documentary.

I'd imagine you probably judge him for the wrong he's done and probably think he's a bad person well not having sympathy for another human being is pretty wrong too in my opinion doesn't matter what they've done in life it doesn't make you any better than the person you have no sympathy for.

I watched it too, it was a depressing watch to say the least, and as someone who was a fan of Boogie's for a long time, it's equally sad, disappointing, frustrating and anger inducing and I have some thoughts.
1: When he had all the money at the height of his fame and popularity, he didn't think to pay off his house and get it over with? That would be the first thing I would do if I came into a large sum.
2: When he knew he was getting into financial trouble, he spent 200 grand on escorts instead of again...paying off his house.
3: He admits he knows he screwed up and could have fixed it but didn't, but the pays the sympathy card, which is something he does alot.
4: He knows he's in a bad financial state and says things like "We don't go out to eat because we can't afford it....then plays the reverse uno card and goes out to eat anyway, with a meh screw it, attitude.
5: His attitude about not getting a "real job" while the fact he's still a felon for the gun firing incident where he lives, his whole "I have 4 million subscribers, I don't need a real job." comment and attitude...I'm sorry but when he broke down his expenses, took out all the luxuries and just kept the house payments, medical bills etc, he said he needed to make 8 grand a month, and that was before luxuries, but his income from UA-cam was only a little over 2 grand a month, when you are at a point when you are earning less money than you need to live, that 4 million sub count means nothing when clearly not all of them are watching. You need a "real job" at that point and have to shift your perspective to one of UA-cam is a job you do to suppliment your income, not the primary source of it.
6: He made the mistake of assuming that his fame, his success and the money that he earned was always going to remain the same, which again ties back into not paying off your house. On the one hand, yeah if you're pulling in over 100 grand a year, there was a point when he made 500 grand in a year, you can understand not paying off the house. On the other hand, it's also incredibly stupid to assume that that is always going to be the same and not take a nose dive at some point, or UA-cam making a bad decision that costs you revenue, or sponsors dropping you etc. Better to just be smart and pay it off and always keep in the back of your mind, I better sort some stuff out just incase all this goes away tomorrow.
7: Like Shannon mentioned, his whole "Well Diablo 4 came out, I had to get it...." No you didn't. You didn't have to get it. You wanted to get it. Big difference. Even then there are sites like Green Man Gaming, where they work with publishers to sell games at a discount so you don't have to buy them at full price. He doesn't even bother doing that to save a little money.
8: His girlfriend, I get that people don't like the age difference, it's a bit much, even for me who has dated a few older women in my time as well as a couple of slightly younger ones as well, I get the off putting nature of that big a gap, but at the end of the day, they're both legal adults so each to their own. She seems to like him a lot and he likes her, it is what it is.
At then end of the day I am empathetic towards Boogie for what he's gone through and is going through, but as much as I would be sympathetic towards him, it is a problem of his own making and one that even when he knows what he has to do to fix it, both before now and now, he actively doesn't. Be it, spending money he knows he shouldn't because he can't afford them, on things he knows he shouldn't, to with his weight loss, after having the surgery and even in that documentary there was a point when he said "I know I shouldn't eat this, but screw it, I'm eating it anyway." Stuff like that, makes my sympathy fly right out the window.

      pretty accurate picture.
5- at least 3.5 of his 4M subs is dead meat...or haters, but likely dead stuff cause he would still have more views with haters otherwise.
      6- coulnd't said it better.
7- He's not even doing video games video anyway. It's PURE ENTITLEMENT!
8-I should not analyse to much,i'm not Jung, but she definitly have a daddy Issue. She indirectly said it in a non published interview(boogie published it yesterday) that her "dad" abbandonned/rejected her @ 2 month and that she missed having a man around. I know it's cringe(20-49).i was in a pretty cringy situation myself ( me 32-her 20) and I deceided to not go through it. Still i won't judge him, they are both major, but i can understand why people found it pretty weird.
My last word about your last line, hyperphagia is a b**** to deal with, also, when you beleive you have a year or two to live and that you know that you don't bring money underground, sometimes make you do stupid things. #BeenThereDoneThat . Normal people would think a bit for the one who stay after them(if he love her that much) but it's a trait of a Self centered narcissist.

I know Boogie did a livestream on Twitch where he watched the doc and provided some more insight on certain aspects of it (corrections on costs of bills and things, additional info on what happened at certain times, etc.), which did make things seem slightly better, but overall still not anything that would change any of your (or the internets) points. I'm sure the VOD is up on his Twitch channel still, if you want to watch, but again, not really anything that could change most people's perspective.

In my case, wanting to be better for your other half almost killed me.He gotta do it for himself, not others, but wanting to please everyone and all is also a trait of the narcissist.

This is exactly what he wants. This is exactly why he approved that documentary to go out (You know if he didnt want that going out he would have stopped it). Videos like this just feed his desperate need for attention. There was a time Boogie might have saved my life with his videos. Now? He sickens me with his behaviour.

well i guess i can say something ,since i am in a corner and nobody ever gets to see what i say.it can be an advantage i guess.
ya wasnt keem that ran that it was momo iddubz and his only fans wife.
boogie.his problem is that he didnt take advice well.thought he knew all the answers because he was told by everybody his poo didnt smell.
unlike normal jobs ,youtube is arbitrary .not all are prepared for the problems that sometimes comes with the job.people just have to be entertained ,you dont really even need to say anything or be anything special.just entertaining.anything extra is a bonus.
thats why people like boogie wingsofredemption and dsp are still around.people are paying to see a lolcow.they know it we know it...everybody knows it.
boogie had problems before he became a youtuber.he would be considered unhireable by most.due to his size and mental problems.
then as francis he became internet famous.lolcow famous.thats what he attracted.he fed them what they liked.and they consumed his content like it was candy.
then youtube didnt like things like francis anymore.but due his spending habits and mental problems and inability to take advice for others.his downfall started.
he bought a 125k tesla even though his numbers were in decline after the snarkypuss thing.gamers no longer trusted what he said.thought he was a cukadoodooo.
his excess not only include spending but eating and sexual habits.his francis persona was a likable oaf.his real life persona is a not nice person.
as ive said in the past, youtube isnt a forever job.take advice for those that know whats up.
invest your money like tomorrow wont come.make your legacy last beyond youtube.
and dont listen to that gunloving momo moist.listen to someone thats consumed youtube since fred.
me lol.cuz im wordy and say what i like.im unique in that way.
im also in the know abooot shite lol
    cheers.

Boogie has made a job of it for 17 years. There's no such thing as a forever job. I have no idea why you're so negative in every comment. Boogie did it to himself. He doesn't make enough money to cover his mortgage anymore.

i cant really comment on the subject because i know people that know him.
all i can say is that i miss francis.not the biggest fan of boogie for various reasons.
it all started to go downhill for him when he didnt stand up for himself against anita snarkypuss.
i tried to warn you off talking about youtubers...you are very obstinate arnt you? i can tell.
i know you wanna be topical.i would advise you to stay away from certain subjects and people.especially those on the downside and in trouble with money.
i know i pick on gaming youtubers cuz they say bad things.but i have a certain amount of cred, because of what ive done in the past.its like a shield.
stuff like this draws problems...pretty sure you wont listen tho.
cuz im like in a corner.all by myself.nobody listens to me..cept for a few :P
