Tried this recipe today, even though I added sauteed seasoned shrimp, green peppers and onions, instead of green onions, and an extra egg. I also coated the crab cake with Italian bread crumbs. Used 15 Ritz crackers, and boy oh boy, was this delish! I never knew when I lived in Norfolk, Portsmouth area, that you were so popular. So glad to finally try one of your recipes!

Hi Chris.....this recipe looks amazing. What really had me from the beginning was the Ritz crackers. I love the buttery taste from them and I know they taste good with the crab. I seen quite a few recipes but none use those crackers. This recipe is a winner with me. One day I'm going to try and make them. Do you think I'd be able to freeze these and eat them at a later date? I've been watching your videos or like three days in a row, and now I'm hooked. I can tell you cook with "LOVE" you have my style of cooking. just a thought, maybe you can use an ice cream scoop for the crab cake mix to scoop it up and put in skillet then flatten with your spatula would be better and you can save on gloves and time. just saying. Many blessings sent your way!
I like to go through the crab first checking for shells then I mix all my ingredients in a separate bowl, lastly I combine those ingredients with the crab.
