- MANILLA ROAD, the masters of epic metal, tell their story. This interview was filmed backstage at Keep It True Festival 2008 and can be seen in its raw, unedited version. This is part 1, part 2 will follow soon. The original version was a part of the KIT-Special 2008 on www.streetclip.tv.
What host Neudi couldn´t know back then is that he will play drums in Manilla Road in 2011 (Hammer of Doom Festival "Epic Night").
Check out Manilla Road´s new CD (Shadow Kingdom Records) and LP (High Roller Records) "Playground of the Damned". Currently also available: "The Deluge" on CD and LP (same companies) and "After Midnight - Live", a recording of Manilla Road´s very first appearance as a liveband in a local radioshow (On CD and LP). The rest of the catalogue was re-released during the 2000s but some are already hard to get.
aww before lil neudi was part of the band
hahaha
Great stuff. Waiting for part 2!
Awesome! Mark and Manilla Road have been "flying the flag" for Heavy Metal for over 35 years!
Great band!
He was one of their roadies back then and was a VERY close friend of the band. He was there since day one man.
Who?
R.I.P. Shark
Whats the band that they covered on courts of chaos?
Blood rock?
D.O.A. originally by Bloodrock
I think Hellroadie was already the roadie of the band and friend of Mark
where's part two dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MelinusMargos
He's making a joke about being older than dirt haha!
Kinda like me, I feel like I was around before the Dead Sea was sick hehheh!!
Part 2?
2:06 I can't understand what Mark's saying, is he saying Dirt? I don't get what it he's trying to tell
...and not Abba:)
Mark even talking have a unic voice, dont understand why he stoped singing (only sings a few songs). Patrik have ruined Manilla with is voice, not for the voice it selfs because he imitates well Marks voice but because the singing style, just listen to the songs the Mark sings and the songs that patrik sings.
Why is Hellroadie answering about the situation when they found Randy Foxe? Its like he was a member during that time.. Wierd.
