The idea is to complete tasks that are meh faster, to get the points, and extend the ones that are worth it. The reason that improves your slayer xp is because different monsters are _worth different xp_ individually. If you're not killing monsters for slayer xp, then sure they're useless, i guess?
If you've done Sins of the Father, there's a multi-combat cannon-able spot for mutated bloodvelds. It's underneath the house in East Meiyerditch. Approx 80k slayer xp/h.
Bloodvelds are cannonable. If you set your cannon and safe spot right you can be killing 4 at once in the Tree gnome slayer cave. They have 0 range defense so it goes really quick.
I really love the vid but I wanna point out one mistake you made with the Duradel Assign-Table I see fairly common. ABBYSAL DEMONS ARE NOT A BLOCK OR SKIP TASK If you Ice Burst Abbysal Demons at the Catacombs (in gear worth less than 5m), you can kill around 255 of them per hour. I personally often get more and with barrage you can expect even higher amounts up to 320. The drops/hr at 1,479,000 and the cost/hr at 473,000. Resulting in 1,006,000 profit an hour (This asumes getting all drops at the drop rate ofcourse) The 255 kills/hr would put the exp/hr at 43605. This makes the Abyssal Demons an above average task both slay exp and money-wise.
This video is great and I'm months late, but people should be doing bloodveld tasks now. With the release of Sins of the Father, Mutated Bloodvelds in the Meiyerditch Laboratory are great slayer xp w/cannon (appx 50k slay xp/hr if efficient) and you'll get at least one Insatiable per task (I had 3 on one task last week and was on pace for 60k slay xp/hr). You'll also profit from the task even with cannon if you bring alch runes, plus they drop a decent amount of blood runes. Do not skip or block bloodvelds if you have partially completed or completed SotF, very easy and afkable task. Edit: Meiyerditch Labs are multi
Go to the chasm of fire with a cannon for a black demon task. I still get 30-40k xp/h and because the cannon is in the safespot with you, it's easy to reload without interruption
Disagree. 99 slayer was so easy and chill. 18m+ xp right now and I really miss getting those levels. Actually Cerberus gave tons of xp for me. Both slayer and mellee

Averaging 70k xp an hour? Sounds a bit exaggerated to me. I get 50k an hour bursting nechs, so I could see barraging them being around 70k. But multi zone cannon is 50k top end if using double hit zones. I dont see how it can average at 70k.

Bottom line is that slayer takes most players who don't wait till they've made 300m+, around 500 hours of non stop grind. It is slower than grinding out runecrafting (no runners), mining (not power mining), and agility even if you have the best combat gear and are max stats. Only reason it is more common of a 99 is, of course, because it makes way more money in the end and goes hand in hand with combat training in general.... also even if RC can compete with gold per hour averages, it still comes at the cost of sanity.
so confused on ankou's being good xp .. bursting them in catacombs i'm getting 30k xp max even w/ world hopping to kill time waiting for spawns. is there a better multi-cb location for these?

Autocast has a 1tick delay before casting, so it often causes you to lose ticks while moving at the same time. As shown in the video, blood barrage can boost xp/hr slightly because you can start casting it before the monsters are in a nice stack. Moving away from the pile shortly before finishing killing the ankous in a world also lets you log out earlier than waiting for the combat timer to expire. There's lots of little ways to boost efficiency by tiny amounts, takes practice to use them all easily

I know this guide is XP focused, I aim for XP/GP balance personally. I am 86 slayer and use Duradel and then Konar on my 10s 50s 100s. Most of my tasks are cannonable and I’ll do the boss versions of monsters (DKS, KQ, Sire, etc) My current block list (which has been the same for quite a bit) is more off of what I can’t stand killing: Iron Dragons Steel Dragons Spirituals Fire Giants 5th block is coming soon (225/250 QP) I noticed you didn’t have steel dragons on the list to block/skip for duradel, why is that? Also, I just cannon hellhounds but I get them often and there are no drops so I’ve considered blocking. Do you recommend me swapping out any skips based off of me wanting to balance $/XP? Thanks!
Yo theoatrix, idk how much there is to cover around ironman slayer, and how u should go about doing that more efficently, maybe not doing cannonballs, and instead hunt for chins to train hunter and then use that for ankou, devils etc? maybe make a video on that :p
As someone who mains a high level iron, there aren't a whole lot of differences. You still Cannon as it's very easy to mobile afk some cannonballs when you aren't doing anything else. Slayer meta has changed a lot and really the gap between normal accounts and restricted accounts has closed significantly. Uim, whole nother ballgame lol
So I'm not sure if this is only relevant to higher slayer. I'm at 70 slayer and my fastest exp has been coming from black demons, hellhounds, and fire giants (not picking up loot). All of my tasks that have given me my best experience are on your block list. I'm doing cannon/blowpipe for my slayer plus using pots. (93 range atm).
This is completely unrelated but PLEASE HELP ME. I was assigned lizards by a slayer master but I have 0 points to buy the ice coolers you need to finish the lizards off and i can't cancel my task because I have 0 points and the slayer master in burthope won't cancel it because he assigns them as well. Idk what to do.
Here's a tip don't do too many quests because the more quests you do the more random monsters you can unlock and the less you unlock the less choice you have

Mutated bloodvelds is honestly my favorite slayer task of all. 90k str exp/hr at 80 str with, admittedly, expensive gear, and like 30k slayer exp all while watching tv. Every superior in Kourend is guaranteed to drop a totem piece, and insatiable mutated is the second best for exp in a superior. Dust devils is my second favorite due to how amazing it is for magic/slayer, and even hit points exp. 50k hitpoints exp per hour is ridiculous to me. I even burst dust devils not on task to raise my magic and hp.

Because there's no mention of minions of scabaras, elves, blue/red/black/mithril dragons, dark beasts, skeletal wyverns, trolls, aviansie, suqah or lizardmen? Considering lizardmen and suqah are higher weighting than drakes and wyrms, wouldn't it make more sense to block them instead? Can someone advise as I'm trying to make a Google sheet before I start my 99 slayer grind and I really wanna make it as good as it can be

I find wildy slayer tasks like lesser demon/greater demons are the best exp when cannoning in multi zone of course with task exstention as im suprised know one talks about that method its wround 60-80k exp and hour.
all in all about 18 gargoyle sups, that's why i say i have been very lucky ^^ also got 4 whips on one abyssal task, ofc i got pictures/vids of it :) i always extend the task aswell ^^
Lazy you just have to get used to your weapon's speed. Turning xp drops on helps turn it on right before the xp off right after it appears. (Your damage is calculated a bit before you see a hitsplat.) For hand cramp flicking play a 100 bpm metronome and double click as he said there's really no secret
I think you and all the other OSRS youtuber should get together and make the divine potions scamm more well known. I'm seeing far to many people using it
People trading divine pots for gp or using them to make players think they're getting more for less. Divine def (4) are selling for 3400gp a pop on the ge, but in trade they're showing like 11k. So people are buying 10m worth then finding someone who doesnt what's up showing them they've got 30m+ in pots to trade off for 20m or whatever. Dude jumps on the sick deal then loses half or more of his investment.
I still don't think that there is a level you should start slayer at. I'm a personal believer in anytime you need to train a combat stat just do Slayer.
Slayer tasks wont imbue my equipment. Also, you can max out your melee stats with dharoks and nothing else in a couple of weeks of mostly afk combat in NMZ, which will then make slayer tasks end that much faster. The issue with guides like this, is that they assume you are 99 stats AND have some of the most expensive and effective gear in the game. Most players don't have and likely will never have that kind of gear, so realistically relying on only slayer tasks for training seems a bit odd to me, especially when so many of them would have you use ranged... or burn immense amounts of prayer pots i guess.

Abyssal demons bursting is still 45k exp per hour on 99 mage. So theyre still not bad
45k is kinda low even at stats of 85's

I think enjoyment of the tasks is important too. It shouldnt all be a max efficient grind.

I find wildy slayer tasks like lesser demon/greater demons are the best exp when cannoning in multi zone of course with task exstention as im suprised know one talks about that method its wround 60-80k exp and hour.

Gargoyle is the most chill slayer task IMO, i just love it haha.. the superiors there have given me 2 hearts and an eternal gem :D and mmmm the money!

all in all about 18 gargoyle sups, that's why i say i have been very lucky ^^ also got 4 whips on one abyssal task, ofc i got pictures/vids of it :) i always extend the task aswell ^^

You can get 65k xp/hr at bloodvelds. Not the best but still not worth using exped braclets.

Bloodvelds is no longer a block, do mutated bloodvelds in the new quest area
partner slayer now gives each person the same amount to kill and doesn't share the kill count...

Lazy you just have to get used to your weapon's speed. Turning xp drops on helps turn it on right before the xp off right after it appears. (Your damage is calculated a bit before you see a hitsplat.)
For hand cramp flicking play a 100 bpm metronome and double click as he said there's really no secret

People trading divine pots for gp or using them to make players think they're getting more for less. Divine def (4) are selling for 3400gp a pop on the ge, but in trade they're showing like 11k. So people are buying 10m worth then finding someone who doesnt what's up showing them they've got 30m+ in pots to trade off for 20m or whatever. Dude jumps on the sick deal then loses half or more of his investment.
The ge is littered in people that got hit.

I still don't think that there is a level you should start slayer at. I'm a personal believer in anytime you need to train a combat stat just do Slayer.
Slayer tasks wont imbue my equipment. Also, you can max out your melee stats with dharoks and nothing else in a couple of weeks of mostly afk combat in NMZ, which will then make slayer tasks end that much faster.
The issue with guides like this, is that they assume you are 99 stats AND have some of the most expensive and effective gear in the game. Most players don't have and likely will never have that kind of gear, so realistically relying on only slayer tasks for training seems a bit odd to me, especially when so many of them would have you use ranged... or burn immense amounts of prayer pots i guess.
