Point blank period. You know exactly who was calling for him to be benched, them same crowd that blamed Lamar for that Mark Andrews drop… yea THOSE ppl
@@matthyrkas8106 only his deep ball needs improvement… he was 76% passing against arguably the BEST defense in the entire country! At THE most intimidating stadium in America!😂 lmao what more do y’all want from the FRESHMAN!? Lmao Michigan’s QB is a Jr & facing a clearly inferior Buffalo defense, yet he only completed 68% (which is still good). It’s the abundance of speed on offense that gave you the lead but that lack of speed on defense mixed with Michigan just slowly grinding them down lead to the loss today. This team has a very bright future ahead, Ogbonna did well in a tough environment for his 3rd ever start
Man, this game was a coming out party for Ogbonna and McNabb. Seriously, those two were on fire for the entire game, even with the mistakes. If you get some speedy guys for the DB room, you'll have a very good defense for the future
Congratulations! You just completed an ESPN Classic! WOW, what a game. Ogbanna truly showed up and proved why he’s the starter to many folks- including myself. Absolutely slicing the secondary and making perfect reads. The Ogbanna-Mcnabb connection is gonna feed families.
Ogbonna did not inspire confidence. Mcnabb is special, but Ogbonna cannot push the ball down the field like we need him to and several spectacular catches were because of errant throws.
I love how they did abilities in this game. The pass the Mcnabb triggered the CBs knockout ability. Not overpowered but can be the difference in critical situations. Fun game.
What a brutal loss, had the tie at the end multiple times. But credit to this team for punching above their weight and hanging in there against a really talented team. The future in the B10 might be pretty good if it ever happens
A brutal loss but this should silence the critics that this team cant hold their own or grow just enough to be a ready contender. Watch them continue to evolve. What a game.
Hell of a game. The team probably played their best all series. It seems like the offense shines when the QB throws Short and Medium. You have the Wolverine's sweatin'
offseason stream cane: "I need Austin Harris at receiver for the 2 big catches he will need to make" and one of those couldve came today if not for the Ogbanna miss and even both if you had seen that corner slow down at the end
the fact that we came so damn close against a team as great as Michigan is amazing. Ogbanna played fantastically, a lot of plays that he made impressed me. ultimately, the talent difference played a factor but that does show we should have an easier time than ever before in conference play this season.
Despite the loss, ogbonna put on a SHOW. Something we never truly got to see in a game of this magnitude from Colson. Ogbonna is the future, and this team is going to be special as long as he’s on it.
That Michigan run game is wild. I played them in my dynasty and it was hard to stop they got 188 yards and it was tough yards at that they only had 2 runs above 20+ (21, 29)
Will say(even though that was gut wrenching)it showed what this team can be with Ogbonna. The drops will be an issue with freshman playing and younger guys playing, especially in traffic. But that was the best game plan I’ve seen yet. The RPO game was executed very well. The only gripe I had was that you kept trying to run outside zone in the 2nd half with Maier, and that Bloom and Ojinaka didn’t play more. All in all though, can’t wait to see where the season goes from here
You play the game on hesiman, which is admirable and realistic because in real-life it would be hard as hell to win this game. You got a defensive and special teams touchdown but the talent disparity in the trenches and 2nd half adjustments were pretty crucial for Michigan to come back. A true freshmen QB at the Big House and he played so well. The future looks bright for him. This team looks prime to make another run at the MAC title and get into the playoff picture. Defensively, obviously room for improvement, but this will most likely be the best RB and Oline you play all year. Look forward to seeing the season unfold. Let's go Mcnabb!
Can you imagine the halftime pep talk that Michigan got? “I just got off the phone with the Athletic Director. He says if you guys lose our homecoming game to a damn MAC team, your scholarships are all getting pulled.”
The first half was surgical by the Bulls. Not being able to get single score in the second half… man. Defense was gassed since the offense couldn’t sustain a drive in the second half. A thrilling game nonetheless.
Everybody pay attention because Cane's videos aren't popping up in my feed despite watching every single one and having notifications on. UA-cam is at it again.
Ohhhhhh man what a heart break!! Everyone knew that was gonna be a tough game. Not being able to run the ball killed the team. The bulls play great against the Big10! What a game very fun to watch
Wow what a game. Maybe the game of the series. This was so close and this team can definitely go toe to toe with anyone. Biggets silver lining here is that Ogbonna seems to be finally finding his footing as the QB1.
Annoying when madden just never improving the mechanic for receivers being able to catch tipped balls costing you a classic has to be pretty infuriating. That should’ve been fixed like 10 years ago by EA
joining the american or acc makes so much more sense than the B1G (especially with the conference realignment). They'd never let a program like Buffalo join their precious conference.
Yeah. I don’t like the idea of big 10 either. ACC is probably the best spot. Plus I feel like he is rushing the dynasty by getting involved with 5 stars before he is even a 3 star program.
@@thekingswift that’s correct. However, if this is a realistic rebuild would multiple 5 stars even be considering a 2.5 star school in the MAC that “hasnt accomplished anything”? I get it is a game with imperfect logic but I think most of us watch cane for the realism.
It's bad.. but I've been watching Cane long enough to know that this game was a loss, just because of his lack of excitement on the pick 6 in the first quarter.
I think Babineaux could bring some secure hands to this receiving core, he can only run short routes but he would’ve been useful on that 4th down slant
24:58 is why I hate sports games sometimes Why even allow the recievers to react to the ball if they can NEVER catch it? I've never seen a tip drill catch in this game... Regardless though, this was a super encouraging game for the future and for the MAC title pursuit. The way the offensive line held up pass protection for a majority of the game was SO impressive and was the main reason the pass game found success. Being able to make plays in a game like this and show that they can stay competitive and not be outmatched is SUCH a massive step forward from where this program used to be. There's obviously still a long ways to go, especially in terms of getting defensive depth, but Buffalo is looking more and more like the Big 10 team we want them to be. Our skill players definitely look the part. The way Michigan is built honestly reminds me a lot of how this team has been built since the 10 sack disasters of the Gunnar Gray and Richie Watts eras - make the line of scrimmage the top priority and then fill the skill positions with speed. Michigan is a look into a future of what this program can become. It's definitely MAC title or bust now - let's finally win a championship.
What do you have fatigue and injury set at? I haven’t seen wear and tear like that between games I have mine at 55 fatigue and 58 injury. I get a lot during game but it doesn’t follow to the next
Im really wondering if Buffalo needs to look at the ACC or Big 12 now. I know the Big 10 was the goal, but they have now lost every Big 10 matchup in Cain’s tenure and are yet to win the MAC. You’d probably need a couple more years to get the Big 10 to even consider Buffalo. On the other hand, the ACC, Big 12, or even the American would make more sense as realistic options.
Very good points. Think it would be cool to climb the ladder like that rather than jumping to the B1G and getting demolished for a while. Though that’s kinda realistic I suppose.
The game was not as close as the score suggest. A pick 6 and kick return td, made it look much more respectable. But still a very good game against one of the best schools.
They were facing the best RB in all of D1 and held him to zero runs of 20-plus despite being on the field forever. It was the pass D that let them down.

Dude. The way my heart SHATTERED on that final play.

Makes no sense for the tipped passes to be rarely caught, especially when they're as open as on that last play
except when its the CPU then they catch every single one
Think Ogbanna silenced the haters after this game. He should at least be good enough to lead the team to the MAC championship.
