"Chet's beautiful tone and heartfelt playing transformed every song he ever touched." ! What a genius musician ! I was quite young when I moved to Paris from Boston, and had the privilege to work with Chet on this project where he chose to record 6 of my compositions . I'm so grateful for that opportunity . My friend José Boto ( drums) and I put together this band with the great Richard Galliano and Michel Peratout playing mostly original music . This group played mostly in Paris' jazz clubs and was getting a reputation .. through that, the producer Yves Chamberland invited us to record at his studio . Here's one of my songs from that project . I'll be posting the other ones soon . Enjoy ! Please hit that "like" button and subscribe to my channel for more .
From the first time I came across your music I was hooked.
The rhythms (comping) seems to spark great soloing Ideas from your colleagues, inspire Bass and guitar players which all adds to your performances.
The sad part for me is that finding your lead sheets with the commercialised internet as now layed, doing a search is preceded by commercial rubbish which doesn't bare any relationship to the question I am asking, that is the time when MPB was readily accessible
I did find 'Lamento Suite' in early 2000's and 'Saci' a while later but I would have liked to have lived with access to everything you have written.

@@RiquePantoja Rique I'm in the UK, probably why the link doesn't work I'll leave my Email in the comments section.
      Hi Rique
Being a trumpet player I loved all the music you did with Chet Baker, the two I listened too most was 'Salsamba' and 'Julinho'.
Amongst your other music it's hard to choose but I have listened to 'Trilha' 'Coisa a toa' 'Carioca' 'Rio de Janeiro' 'Time to Change' quite a lot.I found you at the same time as finding Moacir Santos and discovered that a book had been published of his music edited by Mario Adnet,I managed to get it sent to me here in the U.K. and is something I treasure.
I came across lead sheets for 'Lamento suite' and 'Saci' when the internet was far more user friendly,I later got the 'Brazilian Jazz Real Book' and found 'Melancia'.
I would enjoy looking at anything you could send to me.
      Thanks.
