I'm 65, this man approached me in the store the other week, he gave me his telephone number if I wanted to call him for dinner. We talked on the phone, had good conversations, and met for lunch, I really enjoy his company. After lunch he asked me how old did I think he was, I replied, about my age and he asked how old was that, so I told him, he said well I'm 81, I was floored, I couldn't believe it, he doesn't look, act or talk a day over 65, and he has a great sense of humor, we still talk and I enjoy every minute of it.

I wish Steve would host a Sassy Senior Dating Show. I'm 70 years young and single. I'm not ready for the nursing home and don't have pets or knitting baskets to occupy my spare time. I would love to see this type of show blossom and even join the hopefuls myself. I have 23 grand and great grandchildren and live alone. Somebody should consider this idea.

Being 65 years of age myself, I've learned some things about women. Women don't take that long to make a decision when they meet that man. I saw it in Miss Vera's eyes soon as she saw Charles, that he was the one for her.
I instantly liked Charles' swag. The way he sat forward, his confidence and fun-loving personality was so obvious. I found it sad that Steve reacted negatively to Charles saying how close he is to his mother, but, to Vera, that was an admirable quality for a man to have. I hope their relationship goes well. Not every man who's close to his mom is a "momma's boy" in the detrimental sense of the term.
I think it's commendable to admit that he has a great relationship with his mother. We need more males to love/respect their mothers, just maybe we'll get some real men out of that. They don't seem to care about nothing but free sex. They're not smart enough to know it isn't really free.

EXACTLY, I'm about to marry a man who looks out for his mother and his aunt, the two live together and have been for years. He told me just today that his mom and his aunt looked out for him as he became a man. That warms my heart. On the flip side, I was my son's only help underneath God, but he married something that turned him against me. They've recently divorce and now he's slowly coming back around. And yes, it hurt to experience that, but prayer has worked again.
When a man loves his mother, it speaks volume to his true character. He will be a faithful, fun loving friend, and compassion raised by a wonderful loving caring mother.
I can’t wait for an update! I think it’s beautiful that he talks to his momma often. She’s at the end of her life, if he’s in his 60’s, she could be 80’s or even 90’s. I know the audience laughed at his response but that’s sad as a culture. I hope more people value those precious moments with aged parents. You Can’t get that time back! Blessing to them!

Well, after watching this experience with Ms. Vera, I can't help but think there is hope for me. Ms. Vera is a woman after my own heart. I just turned 73 last week (09/16); been divorced for 12 years, and have yet to meet someone. My daughter tells me that my standards are too high, but I think not after hearing Ms. Vera's. God bless her soul, and may she enjoy the rest of her life with joy, love, peace, and blessings!

Wow! I can see now why people say I look younger than my age. I'm the same age as Charles and he looks 10 years older than me. Oh well... but Miss Vera looks good for her age because she is slim, just like me. I just got married 2 years ago to a much younger woman because the ladies around my age couldn't keep up with me. I'm 66 and still on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah absolutely I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless.. I miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together.

From the beginning, you could tell she will choose that guy. Funny, happy, full of life. The white guy is too serious and the other guy is the one who will only enjoy food moments (barbecue with friends, families etc. Which is not bad, of course, don’t get me wrong).
