- A documentary about Bhuban Pahar a pilgrimage spot with the deity as Lord Shiva,located about 50km from Silchar in Assam. During Shiv Ratri lakhs of pilgrims flock to the mountain top temple to offer puja to the deity. This documentary was initiated and produced by Prarana NGO to promote the place as religious tourism spot. Govt already has taken initiative for providing better infrastructure and facilities to all visitors. The video is initially made in Bengali will be later complied in few more languages for all to understand as per my producers requirement.

In the context of Bhuban Hills, the word Bhuban is a corrupt spelling of Rongmei Naga word "Pubuan" which refers to Apoubaomei Bhuanchaniu, one of the Gods of Zeliangrong indigenous tribal religion. This "Pubuan"/Bhuban Hill is the abode of Apoubaomei Bhuanchaniu in whose name every year pilgrimage is observed in the month of February under the guardianship of elders and seniors of Zeliangrong naga tribal people who are followers of Zeliangrong indigenous faith spread over Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. In the hills, there is a cave called "Bhuanchaniu Cave" which is also known simply as Naga Cave to outside world. In the jungle of the hills, there are still remnants of several tribal Rongmei naga villages which have now ceased to exist. Let us try to preserve true history. May Apoubaomei Bhuanchaniu bless you all.

I've always wondered why the government doesn't build a motorable road here? If the road is built then Bhuban Pahad will be an important place of worship, tourism, income and hospitality like Kamakhaya Mandir.
Let us keep nature as it is evrything doesnot need to be commercial...and people r already making it dirty by littering plastic bags and some even shit in open
