Wat Pa Ban Kho's Spiritual Leader - Luang Por Thul: Udon Thani

Wat Pa Ban Kho was founded by the Phra Ajahn Thul Khippayo (Luang Por Thul) who has passed away on Nov 11 2008. It is a forest retreat for those who wish to practice Dharma in the part of Buddhism propagation and community service in Udon Thani Province.
- Phra Mahathat Chedi Chaloem Phra Baramee Phra Nawamin
Its diameter is 24 m in diameter, 72 m in height, it took 15 months to complete, and the budget was 73 million baht.
The Golden Lotus at the top of the Phra Mahathat Chedi contains 33 relics of the Lord Buddha, cast from brass mixed with copper covered with pure gold sheets, weighing 23 kg.
Lanka art bell enshrine the golden pagoda containing the Buddha's relics throughout sacred objects and immaculate objects Worship other relics.
The lower floor is a Thai-style Chatura Muk Viharn enshrining the relics of the Lord Buddha. There are 22 carved glass doors. The dome wall has a painting "Phra Mahajanok”.
- Luang Por Thul Museum
It was built to commerate the grace of Luang Por Thul. There is an auto history exhibit and various works within the concept of designing a living museum It uses 3 principles: dharma, nature and culture to convey the history of Luang Por Thul.

The Government of Sri Lanka acquired the cuttings from Anuradhapura which is the beginning of Phra Sri Maha Bodhi that the monk who is an arahant has grafted from the Bodhi tree at enlightenment of Lord Buddha at Bodh Gaya, India 2000 years ago. Enshrined as the spiritual center of Buddhists from all parts of the world have the opportunity to pay homage to remember the wisdom, grace and the innocence of the Lord Buddha.
- Takhianthong wood carving
Buddha images carved in the birth, enlightenment, first sermon, and nirvana postures. It was built by Reverend Father Tul Kippapanyo in 2004 using Takhianthong wood throughout the construction period Reverend Father Tul designed it, carving control and close-up coloring in order to get a detailed and meticulous work. And exquisitely beautiful, all 4 postures of the Buddha are enshrined at the sanctuary in 4 sub-districts on the south side of Phra Mahathat Chedi.
