ALM Cizzle VCV Patch

- "The 'CIZZLE' is a dual digital 'phase distortion' VCO inspired by the classic Casio 'CZ' series synthesizers. It brings the specifics of 'CZ' style phase distortion (PD) synthesis into Eurorack with the inclusion of primary and secondary oscillator layering" (from the ALM Busy Circuits website).
It's also available in VCV, so I bought it and made a quick demo patch, which is available to download here:

Thanks, it's a cool module. My only criticism is it forgets the octave setting on osc A, so when I load a patch the sounds are in the wrong range. Next time, I'll leave it on default and use a VCV octave module instead. Also, it's not polyphonic, which is a shame. On the plus side, the noise section is great for patching retro drum sounds, and the res output does a very good 303.
If you're interested in phase distortion, check out Warp Core if you haven't already used it. It's polyphonic, and the VCV version is free.👍

Agreed, it's an interesting VCO. Sadly I don't have the space or budget for 'real' Eurorack, but if I ever did hardware it would be on the list! The VCV version has a slight bug, but the sound is exactly the same and it's only 15 US bucks which made it a no-brainer for me 😉
