  • Hello World,
    This is going to be the next episode of my Poker Vlog. I played 2/5 at Sarasota. I perform a check raise bluff which works out well and make a decent profit in this session.

    that AQ hand I wouldn't expect people to fold there on the flop amazed that he led flop and folded but when you raise flop and barrel turn I think a lot would fold AK so best is probably to call and raise turn because when you raise flop on that dry board its kind of obvious you are only doing it with value. If you call flop spr is still fine that you'll be able to get the money in by the river.

    AQ hand. Flat flop and allow your opponent to pot commit himself on turn with a half pot size bet or jam. You announced the strength of your hand way too early and won the minimum allowing villain to get away. Unless this player is super sticky and overplays their hand often, I have no idea what u were thinking there. Other than that, very nice session!

    As their last recall that you were in Florida or the vicinity of it I certainly hope that you’re protected from the hurricane that’s doing all that damage. That can happen y’all in my prayers and positivity. Thanks for the great stream. I truly pay attention and learn.

    Thx for the vid. I was a little surprised you raised the flop with top 2 A-Q. It was time to walk the dog but he got off the leash.

    @9:30 why do focus so much on denying equity from hands you're currently beating? You have showdown value and you can get called from anything you're beating.

    The hand in which you had ATo versus a blind hand and you make a straight on the river, I’d like to see a more polarized bet on the river. You only bet 50 into 110. Why not bet more like 80-170?? Get that value from his blind range. He has a lot of two pairs, sets, etc that aren’t folding.

      Agree , just butcher the hand like crazy. Typical Kyle. He’s so worried to see a Kx on turn or river. I’m not surprised too see guys at table hero fold a bunch vs him. Kyle is a super nit.

      “The guy has 500 behind so I need to raise to get stacks in by the river” bruh he had two streets of betting left *and* the flop was drier than the desert *and* they would have had $320 in the pot with a flat. In what world was a flop raise ever remotely necessary to build a pot? Literally only need two more bets to get stacks in the middle.

    • @patrickplayspokerbadly6230
      @patrickplayspokerbadly6230 Рік тому

      Jacks are simple, raise or better yet reraise large preflop and if anyone calls, just muck your cards

  • @stefancarlsson3201
    @stefancarlsson3201 Рік тому +4

    Man again. All video it seems like your playing poker being afraid of scary cards and what not. And man that JJ check raise is so dumb. You obviously wanna have check raise on flop but putting JJ in it is dumb and fishy. You wanna check raise hands that have more equity or better blockers. A perfect bluff check raise would be A5s blocking AA and AK so he has more JJ QQ JTs etc etc.

    • @stefancarlsson3201
      @stefancarlsson3201 Рік тому

      And man saying I don’t wanna 4bet because I have to fold to a 5bet is just dumb. Don’t be afraid man. Just 4bet and put he’s wide BTN 3bet range in a tuff spot and protect your hand. If you think he only shows AK QQ+ just fold JJ then. JJ is a super std 4bet especially if your opponent is 3betting wide.

    • @timothynguyen4446
      @timothynguyen4446 Рік тому +1

      He just seems to misapply concepts everywhere. Checks back sets on the flop for “deception” in single-raised pots. Raises for value in 3-bet pots where he clearly can get value on later streets and represents no bluffs. In the JJs hand, raising to fold both worse and better hands to “deny equity” with a hand that can almost never pick up equity when called on turns and rivers. He just plays a brand of poker where just makes random moves and then makes up some sort of mad-libbed reasoning for it.

    • @timothynguyen4446
      @timothynguyen4446 Рік тому +1

      @@stefancarlsson3201I think flatting because you don’t want to face a 5-bet is fine, but only if you think the villain will respond to a 4-bet with that line often at all. If he isn’t, and he is going to play the 4-bet very linearly, it seems mandatory when the opponent is bluff 3-betting too often.
