    Chris Barber has performed wonderfully over the years even back in the 60's when he was touring the world.

    A real gentleman, played here in Belfast a couple of nights ago. Still sounds great at 85!

      Exactamente. Recuerdo perfectamente que siendo un crío empezaba a gustarme el fútbol y cuando veía el partido televisado del domingo a las 8 de la tarde esa era la sintonía de cabecera. Me alegra mucho haber dado con ella. Por los recuerdos y por lo realmente maravillosa que es esa música

    This was at Derby. The last time I saw the band before I emigrated to NZ, but thankfully, made great friends of all the band members who visited NZ in 2000. Sad to have lost several members since, but the music will live on for ever. Still a favourite track of the 2,000 or so produced.

      Exacto. Yo también era crío 7-8-9 años. Ya entonces me gustaba esta sintonía. Hace tiempo, como no conocía ningún detalle sobre título o interpretes, etc, estuve buscando y rebuscando en internet y cuando descubrí esto y comprobé que era esa misma sintonía me dio mucha alegria. Volver a aquellas fechas de la mano de esta sintonía me resulta muy agradable. Saludos.

    Great version. Bob Crosby and his " bobcats" was first recording I heard in Dad's collection round about 1946.

      I was born in 1952, he died in 1953. Sadly I lost all his 78s in a mice in 2006 😪 but it’s on YT:

      @@nhmooytis7058 That's sad. My dad had a Cossor radiogram which he sold along with his record collection before I was old enough to have an opinion on the matter. However Dad gave me my life long love of jazz including being a player.

    Lovely to see Norman Emberson on drums. I used to see him on the odd occasions, sitting in with Cuff Billett at the Cottage in Butlocks Heath. Great bloke from what I recall.

    I don't miss Monty Sunshine at all, but I DO miss Ian Wheeler on the clarinet. here he is on alto. Wheeler was on of the finest clarinettists in the World of Trditional Jazz.

    This was co-written by Ray Bauduc, Bob Crosby's drummer in the Thirties. The original Crosby recording was played faster than this version.

    A perfect band !! All of them are as good as the famous DSCB members, with just a different style. A too "german" style : electric guitar or bass, not enough 2-4 beat, and often that loooong note at the end of the tunes...
