@@hardluckOP456 yes I got it later that we can't apply method 2 in this, method 2 in the sense, I was talking about formula,i.e, T=2m1m2g/m1+m2 But later I understood, this formula applies only for vertical pulley whose acceleration of m1 block is upwards and m2 block is downwards. In other cases both the value of acceleration and tension will be different depending upon the pulley set up and masses arranged to it, and we will have to calculate by the Fnet=ma concept.
Sir at 2:11:15 can we use the direction of acceleration in downward direction, since I paused on the question and tried to solve before you did by taking acceleration downwards my answer came the same as the correct one (a1+ a2/2 + a3/4 + a4/4 = 0) and later you solved taking it in an upward direction,as you said when the direction of acceleration is not given in question then by default take it upwards. So every time we have to take it upwards or can solve it by taking it downwards also?
