First time I EVER saw a couple Power King tractors in a scrapyard. They are really good tractors, very well built and extremely reliable to.
I wish i lived close to this place but then id be broke lol 😂
Just aquired a 1965 Case lawn mower this weekend . Complete with the deck and a blade on the front.
Gonna tinker with it after I get my motorcycles finished if that ever happens .
Can you possibly show more of the Gilson and wards stuff in your next trip?
I second that. Thought I was going to invest to work on custom beefing up a YT-16 for a light duty front end loader and backhoe after I found the Ford LGT's that are the Jacobsens run for more than I want to spend in my area. Only to later have another YT-16 I saved from the scrappers for almost free to maybe leave stock and this last investment... a Gilson Ford LGT-17H. Looks like I'm sticking with Gilson... at least for now. I did see one Ford Gilson shown towards the end of the video after you noted Ford.
@@jafinch78 yea, I never understood why the 80s model gilsons weren’t built as heavy duty as the 70s models. I mainly collect the “S” series gilsons from the late 60s and early 70s. Those tractors are great machines, the only problems I’ve ever noticed is the wiring is a pain to work on and if the tractor had been neglected and or worked too hard throughout its life the frames are known for cracking and or breaking.

Just found your channel over the weekend! My brother and myself collect jacobsen built gts. What state you in? We go to Portage Wisconsin every year for Garden Tractor Daze show, Sears had a great showing last year, the one club is supposed to come back yearly now!

The Sears are pretty picked over as of March,24. Mostly st16 and customs left. But they get stuff in all the time.
The last 5 years I've been going there and buying all the Sears, but here's still a few left.

I dont have any of the screws to mount the bottom and top disk. this air cleaner is mouthed horizontal on top of carbetraitor.
