When the editors leave things up to interpretation ( or misinterpretation?) like this, I think we can interpret it as a hug or a kiss that was more intimate than could be shown on the censored screens of many countries in the world where this would be seen. I can't think of any other explanation... Maybe they are trying to save them from having big censored stamps or bigger cuts on the video. They're trying to promote Weverse worldwide so they want to avoid as much controversy as possible. If they did hug or kiss in that clip, it couldn't even be shown on KBS in S.Korea and the entire episode could be banned (as we saw with one of the more famous Taehyung VLives that was taken down and put back up as a "paid' program because of a kiss that wasn't even on screen).
