Lavezzinifly - Nymph R.T. Red Bottom fly tying

The R.T. Red Bottom is a nymph designed by my friend Rocco, which I tried to replicate at best. It is deliberately tied with a bead that is slightly disproportionate to the size of the hook, in fact it is a bead of 2.8 on a hook of #16 (usually I put a bead of 2.3 on size #16), and this allows us both to make a very thin dressing without having to make turns of lead wire, and to have an artificial that is simultaneously small and sinking in the shortest possible time. The red back (Red Bottom) and the mix of front dubbing (natural hare ear + dubbing with UV reflections) makes it an irresistible tidbit for trouts, but above all graylings!
