Dude, this is absolutely false. I've been on the carnivore diet for 11 weeks and I haven't lost any strength. I've actually gotten stronger on some lifts. If your macros are good and your body is adapted to using fat for energy, you will be just fine. Also, I've dropped 36lbs in the last 11 weeks.
Forgive me if I doubt you. You would be the only person I've ever met that can lose weight and get stronger at the same time. Also if this is possible then why doesn't every powerlifters/bodybuilder stay on a perpetual keto diet. They never have to bulk or cut. They could just stay lean and get stronger year-round. Also, I said this is MY experience. MY BEING THE KEY WORD. Plus I would have to ask what kind of weight are you pushing? Are you untrained? Remember 11 weeks is nothing. I'm talking about dieting through heavy training regiments. I'm talking about heavy hitters on this diet.
