Back in the day I payed “The Clock..” to death, but it felt like a secret world. If I tried playing it to someone else, they’d invariably just look blankly back and say “what is this?….” Their loss.
Just feel so grateful to have seen them at The Barbican back in 2018 - and the Mansions about a half dozen times too. But CC's loss is still such a visceral one.

A hidden gem, this album. Some kind of beautiful melancholy paints this songs. I also love their previous "Everybody´s fantastic" album. Unfortunately their last two albums for Virgin were a letdown to me, the magic was gone, though three magnificent singles like "Singer´s Hampstead Home", "Angels" and "Town to town".- Long live to Cathal and Sean
Cathal's looking a lot like robocop- which is not expected. Its hard to not try and read something into it- as though he's doing it on purpose as a genius literary device. Imagine if that were true! 4-D PopCulture Chess. AND O'hagen is playing a Squire!
