I can seem to click a line and offset a line. Is there a setting somewhere? Like in the video he has line check on unbounded drawing and then just clicks a line types a number. I can’t click the line lol

Great Intro video! When ever I upload an HSM file into Esprit of my machine tool model, I always have a hard time getting my work piece lined up in my lathe chuck or on my mill table. I also have a problem getting my tools positioned in my turret correctly; so everything looks funky in my simulation. A video on this topic would be great! I also have a hard time with 3d tool paths. Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated! Good Esprit tutorials are hard to find!

I've been looking for some manuals to learn at least basics if Esprit CAM. I'd be more interested in milling 3 and 5 axis. I have seen there are some books on Solidworks, AutoCAD and Catia V5 available out there. Are there any about Esprit CAM?
    Thanks for any information.

If u have esprit there are some good pages downloaded in it. From the file page select help and getting started with esprit

The help files in ESPRIT are very detailed and have bailed me out many times. I wish there had been more tutorials like this one when I was new to the software. Milling basics tutorial videos are near non-existent for ESPRIT. I've actually thought about uploading a few myself here lately.

Thanks! I’m a huge Fusion fan but most places don’t use it. Seems like solidworks and esprit is the going thing.

I love Solidworks and Esprit but Fusion is just so simple. And the user flow is seamless.

@@derick3482 tbh it's been a while but I believe you go to tools go to tools number right click and there should be a tab to mess with depth and axis orientation

Not too easy. Esprit is very good software but also challenging to learn.

CAM Wizard has the best collection of Esprit videos. He sells them on his website. Or just find more tutorials on UA-cam. What specifically are you trying to learn?
