wow i was in kindergarden i actually remember that year cause it was the first race i watched in atlanta thanks for uploading this man how times have changed
I would love to see the Monte Carlo make another comeback. That was my all time favorite chevy and always looked so awsome as a race car but i guess chevrolet has moved on.
Finally we see Jeff Gordon's very first Cup title. New Chevrolets, the return of the Monte Carlo, and the emergence of the Bowtie Brigade. Eli Gold should have stayed in broadcasting and Ken Squier needs to to come back. Ken Squier just recently got an award named after he and Barney Hall. However, Ernie Irvan was still recovering from injuries at Michigan in 1994, that's why we saw DJ in #28 for '95. Rick Hendrick worked hard for his first Championship as an owner, look where he is today.
And am I ever a fan of the Bowtie Brigade. There is a reason why we call it the Heartbeat of America. Next year, we see brand identity back on the cars, the new stock car version of the Chevrolet SS. As long as the Chevrolet engineers do the job, they'll outsmart the competition. As soon as we get the same package for NASCAR games, I'm running Earnhardt's paint scheme from 1987, although 95 will be an exception. For now, the '95 Chevrolet has all the glory.
Interesting that Irvan overcame the "and uh" speech difficulty during his recovery, but others didn't. (referring to drivers who didn't do it before their injuries)
I watched this video at least 100 times as a kid. Thanks for the upload!
A Major Hall of Famer season. 90s decade, had heaviest competition. Champs really Earned it.

You wouldn't by chance have the 1994 year in review would you? I've been looking for that everywhere.

How bout that Marty Snyder with the Chuck Bown interview way back in 1995.
7:12 If you're keeping score Dale Earnhardt is now 0 for 17 in Daytona 500
That Daytona grandstand though lol

Thanks for posting, never seen this. :) I used to own the '96 and '97 videos before they got ruined by my crappy VCR. :(
