I lived in Etzatlan from 1989-1999. I want to go back so bad now! It's amazing how it's grown, and I just love how they work to preserve the history. Thank you for this video!
Thank you Clau for your amazing coverage of our beautiful town and and a special thank you for your recommendation of Casa Don Luis Restaurante. We were unaware until now of your video, beautifully done. Please accept our belated appreciation and should you visit again ask for our Mgr. Don Ricardo. Saludos!
a very pretty and unique looking town... even though you told how old it was it has quite modern feel to me. I like the yellow painted buildings. I dont know if it was just the time of day you were filming but it felt very deserted. those patterned fabrics above the streets certainly creayes a surreal feeling and is visually stunning! another one to add to the list for sure. I'm actually in Mazamitla right now for the end of the holiday weeks. I cant remember if you have done an episode on this Pueblo Magico but if you havent been I highly recommend it. it might be my fave place I have been to so far in Mexico. I love the mountain top location... everything is still green here even toward the end of the rainy season. temps are a bit more moderate all day and it gets quite cool at night. the style of the buildings reminds one of European alpine architecture... with heavy use of wooden beams and columns along with tile roofs, white washed walls that are painted red along the bottom 2-3 feet and all shop signs hand painted in red and black.
Hi friend! Yes, it was definitely very quiet; I filmed most of it as soon as we arrived in the early morning, but it didn’t get much busier in the afternoon either. I bet on the weekend it’s more crowded though. I’ve been to Mazamitla twice, I love it! In fact, my first video on the channel is from there; it’s very short though, I’ll have to make an updated version. Hopefully soon 🎬 Thanks a lot for watching and enjoy beautiful Mazamitla 🌲😊
Another great video! I'll plan to make a Day Trip there before I leave on May 9. This is why your videos are so valuable. Would never really be able to discover these towns on my own. I've forwarded the link to 3 of my friends. Hope they Subscribe. Thanks.
You’re amazing! Thank you so much Steve 🙏 I’m so glad you find the videos helpful. If you go, make sure you download the town map from Patreon to have an idea of where things are located 🗺 Happy Travels!

I am from Etzatlan❤️❤️
My family stays just 8-10min away at Santa Rosalia 👋🏽
I was La Gringa, who lived there from 1989-1990. I'm old now. Haha! But have very fond memories of my life there.❤
I love it when people say they’d been there or are from there or at least close!
