Thank you for this video! My husband and I are planning to do the summit in November of this year and this has been very helpful in knowing what to expect! 👌🏻😁
Thanks for watching Maria. It's got to be up there for the best day walk in Tassie. So well worth the hard effort to the summit, if you can get a clear dry day for it.
Hello! Love this video. My hubby and I will be at cradle mountain next Monday 14th. You mentioned there are a number of ways to get to the summit. At this time of year which track do you recommend? (We will definitely be wearing shoes 🤣)Thanks!
Hi Maria, there are so many options, and all provide you with special views. This time of year brings no concern regardless of the track you take. As it's been very dry and warm of late. Go up one track and come down on another. Hope you enjoy your walk.
Thanks for this fantastic video! I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat and am hoping to attempt this in the future. Not sure how I'll manage those hairy sections at 5'4 though!!!
You'll be right Lizzie. Give it a crack. Lots of little kids were flying up and down when I did it. And there's always plenty of people around, with everyone helping each other out on a climb like this.
Climbed it yesterday but only got to the down and up section that had deep snow. Watched people fall through up to their armpits. Not knowing what was underneath, I decided to not go any further. After watching this video, I probably would have kept going. I was thinking based on the rest of the accent , I assumed that there was 10 feet deep crevices. So upset with myself.
Coffee, that top section ( particularly on the east side ) can have deep drop off's, so that was probably a good call in my eyes. That would have been pretty spectacular though in the snow. Thanks for watching.
Well done. As I've commented before your videos makes the viewer feel like they're there with you. There's 2 big boulders that present difficulties but the rest is ok. You would have smelt the ash in the air on that day.
Magpie, yeah the smoke was pretty full on back in January. I'm sure when I go back for another attempt on Cradle Summit that it won't be anywhere near as hairy 2nd time around. Thanks for watching.

@@two_in_tasmania Oh brilliant! Thanks for the encouragement :)
Looks like a hard slog! Well done.
Ben, yeah, you certainly earn this view. But one that is worth the reward for that hard slog. Thanks for watching.
