Here's the Top 5 plus where to find them...
5. Microsoft Office PowerPoint, you'll likely find it on your computer. Or use Keynote on a Mac or Google Drive for free.
4. CoachMe Football at coachmeapps.com/ or find it in the App Store.
3. Hudl Playbook Tool is under your Play Tools in your existing hudl.com account, if you already have access. If you don't already use Hudl, then you won't be using this tool.
2. Go Army Edge Football at www.goarmyedge... but you do need to be in the United States to use this one.
1. Playmaker Pro from BW Software at www.bwsoftware.... for both Mac and Windows.
Good job!!! Hint from a Power Point user, make a file of templates of your formations with defenses you see and always start from the template. In this way you don't have to start from scratch and you can simple adjust from there. Once you get used to the curve took it is really all you need to make about any player action you need including straight lines and option type actions.

Just Play Software is my favorite. Takes some time to learn but has great options and features.

I've used OneNote for clinic notes and it works pretty well, too
Great video coach. I don't know anyone who has paid for play maker pro, yet I don't know of anyone who doesn't have it.
I'm a hopeless rule follower. That said, it is without a doubt the only piece of software I purchased a decade ago that is still useful.

Anyone know an app to write on video? Similar to analyst on ESPN, NFL Network, ect when showing a play?

Does anyone already have a template of plays they use on power point?
Hey coach I was wondering if the go army app would be a good way for youth players to see how a play would look like in my playbook? Given it looks like a video game, most kids are always on a phone or tablet so this method would be a good way for them to study the playbook and understand whats going on. Plus the army app gives them a chance to make they're own plays. What do you think?
Yeah it's a great way to let them see it. The issues I ran into were that it's a big time investment for the coach to put those plays in there, and with our kids already having a log in for Hudl and a MaxOne login, adding one more thing was just overkill. We couldn't get them on it. If you can invest the time and you don't have 20 other services, it'll be good for them to see the plays.
