Hello Greg, I’m sure you already worked it out, by now but the Logitech g29 forcefeedback settings, seem to be default set to 100% on everything. That’s why you had a hard time turning the wheel. It’s best to set all forcefeedback settings, on low, maybe 40-50% and work your way up, until you’re comfortable. Personally, I have my forcefeedback quite low and I prefer it that way. I mainly play rally games and you really have to swing the wheel around, fast and aggressively. Anyway, hope you’re still enjoying the g29 wheel. 👍
i tried that but i still cant turn at alllllll and the wheel is delayed visually from physical wheel to the in game one the in game just begins to turn after abt 1.5 spins
The steering wheel is also compatible for PC too which means it can run everything as long as it’s connected to a PC simulators, emulators, infinitas it will do more than just PS five and PS4 games
The only problem with the logitech wheels in my opinion is how cheaply made it is. thrustmaster is definitely the best brand to start out with. Thrustmaster wheels are also belt driven vs gear driven
@@baloneyguy I just got the G29 + shifter for £208 at Xmas. I read on a post that the default force feedback is on 100% and most people prefer to dial it back down to 40% to start then move it up as they feel the need for "Stiffer" force. Do a little research into the settings and see of you can find that feedback adjustment. Best of luck!
The steering wheel will be differant in every car, so if you have a 60s muscle car that's gonna be way heavier than a modern hot hatch Take it you don't drive a manual
Not at all. Works just like a controller would for menu navigation. Worst thing is you have to have it clamped somewhere. That being said, I can’t go back to playing GT7 on controller.
Bobby B absolutely no offence intended but playing with a wheel, is 100% pure JOY. I played with controller, for many many years and after buying a racing wheel and cockpit, I could never play a racing game with controller, ever again. And unlike in the real world, you can drink drive and nobody gets hurt, killed, lose licence or go to prison. If you enjoy racing games, you owe it to yourself to at least try a wheel and I recommend this Logitech g29 because it’s a great starter wheel or full time setup , for some and it’s relatively affordable, especially when you compare it with more serious gear. For the price, the quality is decent.
