I'm Asian, and I swear by a good steam fish... until today lol. This has been the most exciting fish recipe ever. Packed with such rich, rustic flavours and what a feast it was for the eyes too! The herb infused oil is a treasure. Could not get enough of the veggies! Simply heavenly. Will put more veggies next time. Added shallots into the oil and the fragrance was superb. The lemony sauce added such a lift to the palate! I could smell the aroma and tanginess with each bite of the fish. 600g Snapper, wiped clean by my wife and I. There was a spoonful of the heavenly oil left and I struggled so hard whether to gulp it down with some rice. Had to let it go.. too stuffed. First attempt in grilling a Snapper and thank God I chanced upon your channel! Thank you so much!!

The only thing additional I did was season the inside and outside with creole seasoning. I didn't have a habenero. I used four thai chilis instead only using two when blended. I'm branching out from Haitian cuisine to explore more African dishes - specifically Congolese & Nigerian ones. I did my DNA test recently & those are my biggest contributors, over 60%.
It may not seem like that big of a deal to my cousins born on the continent, but when you've spent most of your life not knowing exactly where your ancestors are from in Africa - it's so freeing to find out! I still feel like I'm floating when I think about it. 😌
I'm still learning about new dishes from my mom, but my favorite one is a simple, comfort meal my mom would make for me as a child. She would boil sweet potatoes (similar to the Japanese sweet potato) in milk, with a stick of cinnamon & star anise.
Always puts a smile on my face.😌

Great video. I love Red Snapper, which I was introduced to whilst living in West Africa. My taste buds are working insanely overtime looking at that beautiful fish.

Oh my word, I made this tonight for my family, a 3.6 pound snapper and the entire fish is gone. The flavor in this dish is unbelievably yummy. I will definitely do this recipe again with other fish. I am now subscribed, I can't wait to look through your other videos. I highly recommend this to anyone, you will not be disappointed

I prepared this dish twice, once with the Red snapper as suggested and it was absolutely delicious , today I had all the ingredients except for the snapper so I decided to replace it with some frozen Cod, being on Covid19 lockdown I couldn't run for fresh fish! I followed the recipe as before and I'll tell you it was just as good. Please give this recipe a try. Thumbs up to the cooking instructor.
