By some miracle, I saw the "Very Emergency" video once on MTV circa 1998 (probably towards the very end, right before the network stopped showing actual music videos). Song has been stuck in my head ever since!!

There was a very small group of us at RIT vegetarian straight edge kind of people also diyamii from locked in a vacancy.. thinking about now it's pretty crazy how many of us went on to do something interesting in the future that came from the same class within the hardcore scene terrence_miele on ig. I'm hoping to try to put out a little book the last two years I've mostly photographed 90s hardcore industrial and punk bands that are still touring or doing relevant work I've got a lot to edit

But an entire generation’s favorite bands know the Promise Ring and refer to them as one of their biggest influences. Any fans out there looking for more recent music from the Promise Ring tree, Davey Von Bohlem and Dan Didier formed the band “Maritime” after Promise Ring called it quits and are still going strong
