I think it's because of the art-style. Instead of opting for a Photo-realistic aproach like most fps games do, they instead chose a more animated/Comic look, which I think helped the game feel more timeless and less dated.
I don't mind the reloads being the same, but the weapons should at least have their own reload sounds. That would make them sound more unique and individual instead of just feeling like skins. Plus they should've added the sound of the hand grasping the gun.
Yeah but tbh alot of the guns are really just reskins like the revolvers and the mps, i wish they tweaked them so they could be atleast a lil different
I like the blur... but I suppose its an artistic preference. For me though, depth of field helps with eliminating bad anti-aliasing. Don't have to worry about jaggies if everything in the background is just blurred. Saves on performance too.

I see they forgot to add RPGs, Rocket Launchers and Snipers.
Technically in-game the "light rifles" are the sniper rifles since they can be equipped with long range sights.
This games needs: Blur removed, lighting increased, gamma increased, higher frame rate and corner shadow overlay removed
