Because Gretchen kept trying to make new slang words and she didn't say fetch because it would get Regina mad so she said navi or something and Regina was like this BITCH keep trying

It was better without it. If you explain too much why Regina was mad at Gretchen it loses the point that she has deeper anger issues mainly stemming from other factors other than Gretchen. Basically she takes her anger out on people which is why in the end when she does sports she finally has a healthy outlet and calms down.
They were trying to make 'fetch' happen. It wouldn't have been a stand-out quote if it was replaced with 'knobby' or other things throughout the movie
This is the only deleted scene I'd wished they'd included because when I was watching the movie and Regina was going through her "fat stage" I was like, "Isnt she obsessed with her weight? How does she not realize she's getting fatter?" This would have explained a lot.

@@yamato6114 even if they altered the scale, sooner or later she would have noticed herself gaining weight so telling her that you have to gain weight before losing all of them makes more sense. I definitely get why they deleted this scene.

applejello Kady mentioned the water weight thing WAYYY after giving her the kalteen bars. Surely she would’ve figured out by then that she was gaining weight, considering she went up 2 sizes when she went the the dress boutique.

Regina did start to look chubby when she began to eat those bars it was only up until the jock told her at the party that their coach makes them eat it for weight class that Regina found out and she was not happy

I remember when I watched this when I was like, 6 and I was completely convinced that this was exactly how every teenage girl was in real life. wearing miniskirts and heels 24/7, wanting to do each other's makeup, and completely obsessed with drama. Boy, how I was wrong.

k a l e it’s if they’re at a hospital/clinic to help them become healthy again. People with an ED in a hospital could think back to this scene and try to pull this “trick” so it would appear that they were gaining weight. Hopefully this helps!

Well, Regina did obviously figure out that she was gaining weight later on, especially when she couldn't fit into the dress. She would have eventually figured out that Cady rigged the scale, which would have exposed her and ruined the whole plan.

I understand why they cut it as this wouldn't of ran as smoothly to Gretchen trying to win Regina back and explaining what the life of the plastics was like
The issue with this is that the weight will always stay the same. So Regina would figure out that the Kalteen Bars don’t help with weight loss. In the actual movie Cady tells Regina that the bars make you gain weight before you lose it. so it makes more sense.
