To hear you speak so much truth is amazing, and my hat goes off to you. I am a suicide survivor, having cut my wrist and lighting myself on fire in 2015. Nobody knows what demons are knocking on a person's door, and to have you put the hotline number at the end of your video is golden. Tell your friend, family, neighbor, anyone you see today that you love them because you never know when or what the last words that are said between you will be. Much love and respect and know it is never too late to reach out.
I completely understand that, twice I almost didnt survive, was brought back, hospitalized twice. 15 years later and it is still a constant struggle. there are more nights I just lay in bed and wonder why I even bother waking up. But its a show of strength to just get up and move in the morning, pushing through everything. even when it seems pointless. You just have to keep moving hoping and praying there is something better on the other side of the wall... Even when it seems like that wall is ten thousand feet tall and looming over you. I just have to believe if I can climb it... Maybe.. there will be someone there climbing it with me. Because in reality. No one can do it alone.

This song hit me hard because years back I tried to comment suicide by overdosing my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest that's how fast it was besting so I told my boyfriend what I did and he rushed me to the hospital and they told him he got me there just in time because if he would have gotten me there in 5 minutes or less I would have died I don't remember a lot from that night but I do remember the nurses and my boyfriend kept calling my name and I made a promise to my boyfriend that I will never do it again because of my kids and him needs me and if I ever feeling down or depressed that I can always talk to him I also remember being in ICU for three days thank you @Mass Of Man for making the songs you do I can't wait to hear more songs from you

I deal with psychotic Depression.. when people see me talking to myself or see someone there when there isn't. They think it's for attention. When yet I lay in bed at night alone with a voice that always keeps me company.
There's a misconception that depression and everything that goes with it is for attention and people that "like to be and feel miserable." I've been told this on multiple occasions. People that dont go through it, just dont understand.
Lost my youngest brother to suicide in 2019 he was only 19 and that whole time I kept telling him how sad I was and how much pain I was in and that I wanted to die when he needed me the whole time. When you take your life you pass that pain onto everyone else and you make everyone feel like they could done something.
My oldest brother took his life as well. He actually reached out to ppl and they thought simple words would help him. He was the kindest and sweetest soul. At the time I was also fighting my own demons and wanting to do the same. The day he did that changed my whole perspective. That pain stays and the confusion does too. I'm sorry for your loss ❤️
@@Frosty0762 I know exactly how you feel. I’m sorry for your loss as well at least we both learned from what happen. Him taking his life definitely changed how I look at things and made me realize I never wanna make someone go through the pain I went through losing him.
