I think the reason people say it’s easy is that gacha youtubers often use assets already made before hand, and when they see artists drawing each frame hand by hand it seems a good bit more difficult. This is not to say that editing is easy, as I’ve never worked with the software used in said edits, it’s just my opinion on why people believe that editing is easier for gacha youtubers rather than animation channels. Have a good one!💜
Making a 12 minute Gacha video takes more effort than making a 30 minute apology video in your car.
As someone who used to do Gacha and now does frame by frame animation, I can say that animation is more difficult, but Gacha editing isn’t easy by any standards. This just puts into perspective how difficult animating frame by frame can actually be considering how difficult Gacha editing already looks.

No because it is actually really hard I worked for a good 30 mins on designs for one character including adjustments color picking took 15 mins to make look right, then I made a replica of and arm and used it to move the ice-cream around in a proper way, took 17 minutes to get the screenshots, and then I edited it, looking for audio took 5 mins, then playing with effects took 30 minutes to get it looking right, and in the end it ended up looking shabby at BEST, so I applaud you
