I had my doubts when they put in Rasha & Goldi thinking that they were doing it for "Ratings" but it was such a brilliant move. Zoe & Rasha are fantastic together! I can't get enough of them.

There really isn't though it's Haram non practicing Muslims are the only one that are gay and technically they aren't Muslim they don't follow the deen nor do they pray or recite Quran they can barely memorize a simple dua no hate to the LGBT community but Muslim aren't gay

But WTF, Degrassi. Having LGBT kids and Syrian kids at a Canadian school is great, but you do not prioritize like that. Each group should have their own room, not a bloody closet. That's like giving one group the middle finger. e_e This is a big ass school, so they have no excuse. Having them compete is worse, and won't solve the issue. I caught that the first time and always thought it was weird. But maybe she expected Rasha to say something completely different. The faces she made while Rasha was leading up to saying that were like, "here we go, she's about to say something homophobic" only for her to say, "very cool."
Yes, look at Jwan Josef soon to be Ricky Martin's Ex Husband. He is part Swedish as well. another person is queen noor born lisa halaby. Her Father was syrian and her mother was swedish. She grew up christian but when she married king hussein in 1978, she converted to islam.
@@MatthewNY94oh shut your mouth. Zoe's journey to realizing she was a gay woman is something that really happens. Calm down, guys. So what if Pushpa's English grammar wasn't perfect? This doesn't mean they were trying to be cruel or homophobic. Reaching. The more important thing to notice is that it should be "lesbian". Not gay.
actually, not all gay women like the term lesbian. Zoe has always referred to herself as 'gay' rather than 'lesbian', so maybe she prefers that. And for a source, take it from me, a gay woman:)
+Abby N Well that's something. Honestly, I've never heard of that before. XD I was wondering why they chose "Gay-Straight alliance" over "LGBT" But thanks for clarifying.

I love seeing the poster from Romeo and Jules in the background! brings back memories of eli and the rest
I just realized that Rasha gave Zoe a "Special" Smile after Goldi took her away. She liked Zoe from The Get Go.
laminage Right and Zoe's confidence fueled it

the LGBTQ fights will never be over or completely won
So what if Zoe doesn't wanna come out yet that's her choice I don't understand why Grace can't just mind her own business it's not her choice
Can you imagine if The Old School Degrassi Kids did something like this back in the day. There would be an uproar.
I like them. I'm glad that they acknowledging there is lgbt even amongst the Muslim community
YAS. ♥ I haven't seen Degrassi in years, but I was so excited to see this representation.

Zoe made a Mistake. Unless The Hot Dogs are Beef, she must remember that Muslims don't eat Pork.
Probably we’re beef

It's not a shame to be gay but I know some people don't really like the label home
How did Zoe not know she was gay she was so boy crazy I never would of guessed
Because the writers completely rewrote her character for Next Class. Made no sense.
Maybe she was only interested in boys for validation and not because of genuine attraction.
