For example, grinding horde encounters in caves was incredibly efficient, because any rocks that appeared could be shattered using Hyper Voice, which would also likely KO every Pokemon in the horde at once (barring Sturdy, since hordes are extremely low level), resulting in increased EXP and some free stuff, usually valuables like star pieces, meaning you could efficiently grind levels and cash without even needing to move, assuming you initiate the horde using honey or Sweet Scent, which guarantee a horde battle when possible.

Pokemon gamers demand harder trainer fights with strategy, yet fear the only two trainers who use any sort of strategy: Whitney and Cynthia. Defense Curl Rollout Miltank and Max IVs Garchomp haunts the fandom to this day.
@@spindash64 except no one praises Whitney. Whitney exists to demonstrate the power of combos in a game that literally never explained combos (you needed to own Pokemon Stadium 2 and go to trainer school for that). Not a single person going in to Whitney blind knows that with one Defense Curl, as long as she uses Rollout and doesn't miss, she's starting the battle at +1 for both attack and defense. Whitney was a one trick pony, and people still complain that she whooped them. If people actually wanted harder battles, Whitney being a showcase of combos should be praised. She should be the poster girl for an entire subclass of trainers that exists explicitly to show off combos. Weather combos, move combos, team move combos. Cynthia is also a one trick pony in terms of actual strategy. She was the only trainer in the main game to have a pokemon with Max IVs on a pokemon. Which is never explained in any way, her Garchomp is just a fucking wall you have to climb with no explanation as to why it's in the top percent of Garchomps. Meanwhile, the actual toughest non battle tower/mansion/train/etc bossfight of the series is the 8v6 of Volo and Giratina, and hardly anyone talks about that. Nah, man. If people actually wanted harder, more intelligent pokemon games, then modded Pokemon would be way feckin more popular than it is.
@@Xahnel I think the real problem is that the Pokemon games don't actually teach the players anything about Pokemon. Growing up, I hated the Battle Frontier because their Pokemon were always faster, stronger, and more tanky than my Pokemon. I wanted the items and TMs that were locked behind BP, but I couldn't beat anything. I had no idea that IVs, EVs, and Natures existed, let alone how they worked. That's because the games didn't teach me any of that.
@@XahnelIt's a badly executed difficulty curve for Whitney v. Cynthia. Against Cynthia, you have an entire region's worth of preparation for a Champion fight, in which the challenge is supposed to be high. Your team is fully evolved with all or most of the moves you want. You have enough options and items to compensate. In Whitney's case, outside of a lucky burn from a Quilava, an Onix/Geodude or traded Machop, there are no great answers to that Miltank. For the third badge, in a region with a notoriously suppressed level curve, your serious team is likely 3-4 members max and only just starting to evolve facing off against something with base stats comparable to a fully evolved mon with a gimmick that quite literally snowballs out of control very quick by design. To say nothing about Stomp flinching which is just annoying and unlikely for anything at that point to out speed it. It's more appropriate for a 5th-7th, difficulty wise. Part of me thinks that may have been the original intent, considering the events concerning the Radio Tower.
7:13 ultra sun and ultra moon was kind of hard to take serious with the rainbow rocket post game arc, because they were trying to promote Giovanni is the ultimate evil, when really, he wasn’t. Even Ghetsis talk like he was. And yet he was the only one of the villain group, who, upon losing tried to take a hostage. Meanwhile, Giovanni, upon being beaten, bowed out.
2:49 So it says "v"? For now, there's the one-time story thing in Black/White where your first battles mess up your room somewhat. Also, the mere presence of Macargo should melt and ignite things around it.
Thing with type immunities is that they sometimes… shouldn’t happen. For instance, a powerful lightning strike won’t get grounded and instead blow up the ground and leave a glass crater. My idea to translate this into the games is that if there’s enough difference in the levels, one’s type resistances become less relevant. Also: 1:38 Pokémon Uranium would like to know your location
Honestly, Pokemon should have a NG+ hard mode. Skip tutorials, trim the dialogue, keep ALL the mons you've caught up to that point, EVERY low level pokemon is capped to Lvl 20-30, and SLIGHTLY increase the chance of shinymon encounters... but every pokemon will have all the moves required to bring them to their full potential (evolved or not). OH, make attacks that have no effect have some effect.
Fun Fact: In pokemon XY you can destroy some background scenery by using certain moves. example if there is a tree in the back ground using cut will cut the tree down and you will get some items, or a rock in the background you use rock smash and get some other form of items.

[A TIP FOR ALL TRAINERS]
Don't give your lopbunny too much love
0:15 - One of your Fastest Pokémon Mis-Speaks yet - it's Jigglypuff's _Fairy Type_ that makes it Immune having a Hole in the Fabric of SpaceTime torn into it, not its Dragon Type (which it doesn't have, by the way)...
4:10 - ...And unfortunately _still_ wasn't given any Competitive Viability in Gen 7...
8:03 - Rayquaza lives in the Upper Atmosphere of the Planet (the Ionosphere, to be exact), it's fine with the Cold! Makes it seem real silly when the Two Legendaries that should be Weakest to Ice (Rayquaza being 4x Weak, Groudon 2x, since it's Mono-Ground Type, not part-Fire) are just hanging around outside - yet the One with the Resistance to the Ice-Type is in the Lake there, completely Frozen...
11:26 in sun/moon you get a few of the Kurt balls among them is the friend ball. I just used that to catch a buneary.
7:28 Bro doesn’t know what a sacabambaspis is.
Right? ◎▼◎
That song is never getting out of my head
"NPCs have better strategy"
Someone tell Noble about the Fangame of PKMN Clover and the battle with Samuel Jackson...
My lopunny hoarding skill have called forth.
i guess regigigas's method of obtaining dragon crystals is why dragapult is a ghost type, although it wouldn't explain how it rain out of the crystals
So, Lopunny is tsundere? No wonder they're so popular.
I love rabbits, but the kind of love lopunny wants is off the table.
Cuter than an eevee?
Flareon!
More fluffy and warm!
7:00
They return with broken bats, one with a crow bar warped around their neck
"Now what!"
"He had fighting type, Machoke is a brute."
"THEN GET SOME GUNS!"
They return beaten even worse, guns warped into a large ball.
"What this time?"
"Guns... don't work well against things that can control timespace anomalies. The black hole, the black hole...."
"Then get biger guns... Its a child you idiot"
only 1 of the 5 return, pale and shivering...
"What this time..."
"The... devil..."
"The child?"
"no... Giratina..."
"What about it?"
"He.. controls it... they are gone, taken to the underworld... all of them dragged down screaming while the child complained we didn't give him enough pokebucks..."
Later...
Red comes to Giovanni's room with Giratina and other legendaries
"Hello, Giovanni" (psycho laugh)
"Impossible..."
"Giratina, STRIKE HIM DOWN!"
Giratina defeats Gio's whole team and then himself
Now people and their Pokémon are safe
Man. I don’t even remember my Buneary hating me when I first caught it in Ultra Sun. I remember after getting it, I pretty much replaced my Litten with it as my Ace. Evolved before I even got to the first challenge. I had no idea evolving it was such a struggle for people.🤔
Me reading the title: ok.
Me 5 seconds later: wait... LOPUNNY DOESN'T EVOLVE!!!
Pokemon gamers demand harder trainer fights with strategy, yet fear the only two trainers who use any sort of strategy: Whitney and Cynthia. Defense Curl Rollout Miltank and Max IVs Garchomp haunts the fandom to this day.
That’s not a contradiction, that’s supporting evidence. People remember the bosses that kicked their butt at least once
@@Xahnel
Does the term “difficulty spike” sound familiar?
3:55 gotta agree with u there. Sandblast might be in my top 10 favorite pokemon. Definitely top 5 from gen 1
I didn't expect to see Tuxy in a Lost Pause video
In Sword, I caught a Bunnary, and within an hour I had a Lopunny.
Giovanni... the man may have been freaking EVIL, but... he still had some degree of class.
Looks like just the right amount of love to me.
2:49 So it says "v"?
For now, there's the one-time story thing in Black/White where your first battles mess up your room somewhat. Also, the mere presence of Macargo should melt and ignite things around it.
5:05 One's a plant trying to be a bug, the other is a bug pretending to be a plant
Yup. Lurantis is based on the orchid mantis and leavany is based on a leaf mimic insect.
Give us more Potato exposure. The little guy needs his screen time~ ;D
>Lopunny
The Joker has entered the Chat.
1:56
Maybe they'll be like Guzzlord where they all just scream
Thing with type immunities is that they sometimes… shouldn’t happen. For instance, a powerful lightning strike won’t get grounded and instead blow up the ground and leave a glass crater. My idea to translate this into the games is that if there’s enough difference in the levels, one’s type resistances become less relevant.
Also:
1:38 Pokémon Uranium would like to know your location
Nobel: what if pokemon game let's you rekt stuff.
Me: what about a game where your part of a group that have to go clean up all the mess.
I'd be more than happy to give Lopunny love~
Honestly, Pokemon should have a NG+ hard mode. Skip tutorials, trim the dialogue, keep ALL the mons you've caught up to that point, EVERY low level pokemon is capped to Lvl 20-30, and SLIGHTLY increase the chance of shinymon encounters... but every pokemon will have all the moves required to bring them to their full potential (evolved or not).
OH, make attacks that have no effect have some effect.
Fun Fact: In pokemon XY you can destroy some background scenery by using certain moves. example if there is a tree in the back ground using cut will cut the tree down and you will get some items, or a rock in the background you use rock smash and get some other form of items.
by the time that GTA 7 is released that pikachu ballon wil still be inflated.
You have to fill that bunny with a lot of love and cream to get it to 100 i guess 😅
that pikachu's gonna be alive for a few years lol
Balloon Pikachu still fighting on is like a symbol of undying perseverance lmao
9:52 The eevee had gone on a jurney to find a couch to vibe on and legend says that it's still looking for one.
Pokemon Colosseum beldum is top tier humor
They need to make it where there is trainers who just like the yiga clan changes their models when encountered. They did it in pokemon colosseum.
Pikachu: "Pika!"
Eevee: _the cutest sound known to man_
Regirock: *ÜN ÜN ÜN ÜN ÜN*
Sandslash line is my favorite
2:34 dolphins are like that to every other animal except us. like the british to the americans.
10:36 I would like to bring up a counter argument * holds up snom * ❄🐛
Me: WOW! A BUG TYPE! i like bug types, can i have it? :)
0:12 Jigglypuff just wants to watch the world burn...
At first I thought it was Kirby
I mean baseball bats aren’t gonna be all that effective with someone who has a fire dragon as his best friend.
I’d be getting Pokémon Oppenheimer… they’re supposedly adding the Nuclear-type to it along with attacks like Fission, Atomic Explosion, and supposedly reworking the move Meltdown
Isn’t that just Pokémon Uranium the fangame that got publicity for getting the DMCA
@@the-angel-of-light-gardevoir8 wouldn’t know much about it besides the name… now I think of it… what would a Nuclear type Pokémon’s type matchup chart look like?
7:33 Noble forgot his recent video on that triangle mouth fish
Quick someone tease him about it.
S A C A B A M B A S P I S
he says , noise like regis
but regi ice and regigigas actually say their names
I know the house market is rough because I hear my parents talk about it.
7:73 Noble, those "sushi" are dragon type Pokemon.
The braille that regidrago said was "of"
