This was revolution when released in the early 70's. They made this all the way to the late 80's and these were very common machines in Finland. I still remember these from the late 80's and early 90's when my Dad used to get his company car to the wash. Options were foam wash or solvent wash with or without wax. I was so afraid of that dryer back then :D
This is truely, one of the, coolest rollover car washes I have ever seen. Again, I live in North America, so our "VINTAGE" car washes are mostly just those tunnel car washes with a conveyor that pulls the car through.
Oh yes not many survived after early 90's. I only saw one working around 2002-2003. It has been long gone now. In the 80's these were very popular in Finland.
@@CarWash811 and the UK lots of shell garages tended to have them and then the tammermatic ultra. One of them later they added wheel washers on the front and extra polish cycles as well.
It must be difficult trying to record when someone else is recording off to the right using a privacy blur. 🤣 And the classic 1970's yellow/gold coloring brings back memories of my teen years.
Remember me for a Tammmermatic / WAP Softwash at a Aral Petrol Station in my hometown. In the 80s...Blue White Brushes and the smell of Coca Cola during the Hot wax Programm....
Great old system!!!!! Wonderfull quality you wont find in todays China Crap systems. I have heard in Russia they build these under licence during the cold war?

I have been waiting almost 20 years and I still can't believe that I found it ! :) Around 2002 was the last year when I saw Nordic in action :)
OH MY GOSH THE DRYER!!! This piece of machinery is beautiful and I love the way that dryer folds down. What a cool thing to see in operation!
