I didn't know those spiders lived so long. I'm going to be getting a little mischief of rats in the next few months, kinda crazy some species of spiders can live just as long! Animals are so interesting.
It’s always hard when those special ones cross the rainbow web. My fav was a c versicolor that passed 3 years ago, it still gets me sometimes.

Wednesday was the first video I saw from you, I still remember when her first egg sac was there and the hope that she did actually lay eggs, the sadness that it looked like the sac was sterile, and the Joy when you opened it to find a bunch of babies actually alive!!! Will never forget that moment.. Wednesday deff started the change in my view of spiders overall. I know I'll deff always remember Wednesday!!

Awe I'm sorry for your loss Kat! Some people just don't get it. They can't even understand a "normal' pet and grieving them. Spiders are far from a regular pet, but we get it. Thankfully you have some of her littles.

I'm sorry for your loss, 😔 You and Wednesday brought me into the hobby. I couldn't afford velvets so I got two regal jumpers, eventually making friends with April from Spider Enchantments and winning a gandanameno echinata . Now I have 2 gandana and a Eresus walckenaeri🖤 14 Tarantula and endless jumpers. By far velvets are my top favorite but I love all my Spooders. I appreciate the time you take to explain everything from spooder care to your own personal feelings and opinions. Thank you for pulling me out of my depression and showing me I can be a person again. You gave me the spark I need to want to learn again, fill my head with stuff besides past trauma and pain. From spiders I took off into freshwater fish, Oscar Cichlids and Mbunas specifically. I now have a small scale aquatic rescue working on my second pond. It all came from your energy in the world. Keep pushing💪 keep ignoring these Karen's and d bags behind the scenes. I'm proud of you
I know this comment is a little late, but I wanted to say thank you so much for sharing Wednesday with us Kat. Wednesday was the reason why I got my own E. walckenaeri! Even though it is quite sad that she is no longer with us, I think it’s absolutely fabulous how she has impacted many people around the world AND potentially have her bloodline continued! 🖤🕷️
I understand the grief. I get attached to some of mine more than others. I had a beautiful big neosparassus salacius huntsman girl I raised from a baby. I had her enclosure next to my favorite lounge chair. She'd hide during the day but come out as soon as she sensed me sitting down. She'd sit in her enclosure on the side closest to me and groom herself and just hang out. She started to slow down from age and eventually passed. I still miss my girl every day.
Wednesday was special- I watched the unboxing. She was always so gentle

My condolences, Wednesday was super special. My first Jumping spider passed about a month ago. So sad. Now I have a new one. My Spot was a bold jumping spider and now I have a female Regius. Her name is Miss Webber. These little guys definitely worm their way right into your heart. 😥❤

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too remember the day you got Wednesday and how excited, happy you were. She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. But all her babies! How wonderful to see them growing and doing well!! And a male, WOW!! I hope Tom is successful in breeding him because I would love to buy one! My condolences and heck yeah tarantulas are pets ~ my husband had a strong bond with his Mexican Orange-kneed tarantula that would chill on his chest by greeting him every morning when he woke up. That story always used to give me the heebie jeebies until I started watching your channel, so thank you for helping me get over my phobia! That's awesome that you created a lovely shrine display case for her and she gave you babies ~ the gift that keeps on giving! 🕷🕸😻
