The worst equipment in the history of chromatography, ever. They are cheap but you will regret it. I never have seen a NEW equipment with so many problems. It is ideal for colleges and shady lab practices. They have a lot of problems with reproducibility.
There is no need to open the whole GC lid to access the injectors (this is required just for service purposes). Each injector has a removable individual cover and if this is not enough there is also a small panel around both injectors that can be removed giving plenty of room for liner maintenance (even with the multiprep installed and without opening the whole lid).
Hello. I have a Clarus GC model 500 (an MS detector is attached to it) and I want to ask you something. I also have another brand GC-MS and I can create methods with it that can ramp 120 C/m where yours only can reach up 45 C/m of ramp with its oven. It doesnt make sense because other brand GC is way much an older model than yours. Is it possible that the software doesnt allow me to ramp over than 45 because we did something wrong with the software or it is the real limitation of your instrument? Thanks in advance.
Hi Erhan - is that GC actually *delivering* a ramp of 120 C/min? I have only seen this achieved with a direct contact oven, or by introducing a pillow to reduce the volume of the GC oven.
The Clarus 5xx series are the base models, being hardware limited to 45°C/min. The high performance Clarus 6xx series allow heat-up rates up to 140°C/min.

AMO esta marca de cromatógrafos norteamericana!
hi, i try to generate the qualitative data in my GCMS 680/SQ8T but it the report cant be appear, what should i do
We have Clairus 690 and 680. Also used to have triplus.
Does the multiprep block the lid on the top of the GC ? Can it still be opened, so that the liner can be changed?
