Shout out to HBB here on calling how 30usd can be a lot of money to some people. In my country, spending this kind of money on a iem is a lot, and having a set that is enjoyable and actually good at this price is very good. This is not my price bracket but a lot of people start or even finish there.
I just got my first BL03 today for xmas (grandma didnt know what to get me lol). I might be a little late to the blon party, but i am LOVING, LOVING the sound signature so far. So funny that you released the review for the 03 II today lol
The blo3 and urban fun sets were my intro to this hobby and have strong feelings of their importance in the hobby. Please do not be a snubbed of them and the inroads they have made. I will get this just to have the next iteration of the 03. Thank you HBB for starting my journey on the iem road😂

I'm still rocking my BL03 from some years ago and the sound is fantastic, they have fallen numerous times and split but just superglued them and back to work. When my BL03 can't withstand any more, the BL03 II will be my next earphones.
Man I almost got the Blon 03 originally and still wish I would have at least started there. Really glad to see that things like this still come out to attract others to the hobby. Thanks for being you brother!
Great to have the budget king still around, they are what helped me get into this hobby, literally, first got the og ones, then investigating i found your urbanfun video and the journey started
I think the different shaped shell alone gives this and even the OG a place in the budget point. There will be some people that love the OG for its form factor, and so this set will be THE upgrade for them. Good job for BLON for creating the 03. Happy holiday folks!

I have Shure KSE1500 and Timeless AE in my drawer, used some other considered "end-game / high end" sets too. BL03 is still my daily iem even today because of it's natural af timbre and tuning. It's literally an HD600 in iem form, it's mids and buttery treble, warm & cozy but wonderfully textured bass is something i could not find in any other sets including some best single dds like ie900...
I ordered my OG 03 a few days ago, it was pretty much my last of what I consider the classic sets, probably grab this one as well since its pretty reasonable! Happy New Year everyone!

It was my first IEM back in the day, and over time I learned more about the subject, changing filters and grilles. Looking at cables and such... All the Blon03s I've had have cracked open like shells, I hope the same doesn't happen to them with this review. I have several QKZ x HBB, I've changed filters and grilles, and with cables and impedance adapters, none of them have broken and they sound better than the Blon03, at least to me. I think they're the first ones you should buy. Merry christmas!

I absolutely love what Blon did here. It's quite literally the BL03, but better. No major retune or anything. One thing I wished the Z300 had was a 2 pin rather than the QDC connection, so it's nice to see Blon come out with something of the same price with it. While I haven't bought the original BL03, a friend of mines did. Tried them out for myself and I found them quite enjoyable
This was the set that started it all for me. I never got it but I heard so much about it that peeked my interest and got me into the rabit hole. Hope all have a great New Years Eve....
Awesome to see, I came after the time of the BL03. I started into this hobby when the Starfield was popular, it was my first IEM. I might pick these up as my carry arounds - being able to get the USB-C cable is pretty awesome.
Guys hear me out for a sec. I just saw this video and wanted to share that i really hope that they managed to keep the timbre what many of us thinks makes the BL03 so special and different to other iems regardless of price for years. I owned or listened many headphone and iem some of them are like considered to be high end end game stuff including HD800S, HD600, HD660S, IE900, IE200, DT1990 Pro, DT990 Pro and countless of chi-fi iems like Fiio FH3, Moondrop Aria, Tin T2 & T3+ but in the end i sold most of them because the technicality doesn't guarantee that you will not just like but "love" the timbre and sound of an iem or headphone. What i'm keeping in my collection today includes Shure KSE1500 (which i recently bought and stopped the iem game, it's a real end-game technical performance which is just not comparable to any other high end in ear stuff no matter the price), Timeless AE (good price to performance with fast driver and a well tuned overall balance but needs some EQ to sound natural), Hzsound Heart Mirro (not the Pro, the OG one which has the same dynamic driver Blon BL03 uses so the timbre is just as natural and lively) and of course i have 2 Blon BL03 (i had 3 but traded one of them recently) one gunmetal color which i've been using since 2020 for literally everyday and it's still perfectly working other than it's paint chipped because of the drops on the hard surface many times and a purple BL03 as my backup set today. 2020 production has a bit warmer bass so better note weight compared to other ones i bought recently but has the same magical "something" in their tuning which i can not get from ANY OTHER iem nor headphone... They just can not give you the magical, emotional, natural feeling of what BL03 gives even with some heavy a..s EQ experiments on different iems and headphones. I managed to get almost identical tunings with heavy EQing on different stuff just to hope i may get a better technical performance with a better iem while keeping that naturality BL03 offers but i just can not get that what does BL03 the BL03... It still is my daily iem for casual use like watching something, playing game, talking in discord etc. It's just have that perfect effortless natural sound. And i want to also share that it's easily the most comfortable iem i've ever used in my life even when compared to the stuff which gets praises by being comfortable like the IE900 or this Shure iems... BL03 has a shell which is almost like a custom molded shell for my ears idk... And after seeing it with a black coating in it's revision 2, i don't have any other chance but buying a pair lol... If there anyone else thinking the same things like me, please share what other stuff you tried and find just as natural and "emotional" sounding like the BL03 if you ever find any. My hands still goes grabs my BL03s from the drawer, not the KSE1500, not the Timeless AE, and definitely wouldn't grab the overpriced IE900 too because i just don't want nor need to hear every miniscule detail in the music with those highly technical sets. That doesn't really attracts me to be able to hear the song with a microscope like my KSE1500s, if i don't enjoy the sound and getting that goosebumps everytime my favorite band hits that punch line in the song (i'm looking at you Nirvana the man who sold the world, or R.E.M Losing my religion...) So having a highly technical set does offer you a "high quality" sound and time to time i go grab those iems and listen to things but that still doesn't make me find myself with my hands, feets or my head holding rythm of what i'm listening at that moment like i do with my BL03s... Thanks for the review HBB! i really appreciated for the sharing.
Definitely a good example of how to release a successor product. Keep the DNA strong to the previous and fix/improve the criques of the last. I think that if you change too much, it's not really a sequel anymore, it's a new product trying to use a name people think positively about.

loved my time with my OG BL03, i didnt mind the cable because the shell itself more than made it up for it. if the new one fixes that part, new one is gonna be a default recommendation from me
Personally, I don't think it looks like an evolution of the OG, but it's still kinda similar and quite distinct from most contemporary budget DD sets which are mostly tuned kind of the same. So it's a nice change of flavor and some extra variety doesn't hurt for sure. Thank you for the video and everything else! 🙏🏻

I like budget sets quite a bit. I feel there is generally more variation between budget sets as opposed to variances between high end sets. At least from what I've tried. And probably because it's easier to try more when they're budget
@7:03 It is a double chambered "cavity", not tubed to the nozzle; I think they are using the term "Extended Sound Tube" for their longer nozzle vs the OG (which is good news comfort-wise)

Never had the 03. Your collab was excellent so this is pretty hype from the offset. I'm going to finish the video before I give an opinion though. Edit: Looks very good! I don't really need another set at the moment, I'm still enjoying what I have right now. Hope you had a good Christmas brother

BLON 03 was my first IEM.... It's so Wonderfully tuned for it's Soundstage....
And its treble is not Ear fatiguing at all

The OG was my first foray to decent set iems, after some cheap ones. It's still being used regularly even today.
For real.... It's so Wonderfully done. I even Mix with it.

The first Blon was surprisingly good in its price range.
These look quite handsome being all black that I don't think many other IEMs can pull off the all black look.
I heard nothing but good things for the previous one, got me intrigued for this new one now.
Still with Bl03 with my own home made cable as the og cable broke... Just salvaged 2pin connector from the og cable.
