Gradius UNIVERSE: 1-ALL 2010420

Solid fangame. A lot of the aspects from the original series are updated, from no checkpoints, dying doesn't strip you naked, and no option hunters (sad, I like those bastards).
The boss fights in this game are very good, they can be pretty tanky however, and Crystal Core is probably the hardest boss in this fangame.

"Option Hunter", interesting. Not heard them called that before, we always used to refer to them as "Multiple Snatchers" due the option being called multiple in the UK Arcade versions. This looks a great fan game. Would've liked to have heard more music from Vulcan Venture rather than Gradius III though.
