    You have such a wonderful way of verbalizing these concepts in a way that make sense to me. Yet another great video. I'm still working on Chopin 25 #1 from that video you did. Slowly but surely I'm making real progress. To my delight everyday I sit down it flows easier than the day before. Thanks Jeewon so much.

    I'm a piano teacher teaching this piece right now and I love the language you use for many of your ideas, like "your ears need to make a decision of whether to go on or not" and "how you physically move your fingers effects how you hear between the notes". These are concepts I have had a hard time teaching, but this way of expressing them will help a lot. Thanks so much!

      Hello! It’s always nice to hear from a fellow piano teacher, because I too love hearing a concept verbalized in different ways by other teachers. Thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment!

    Love Chopin. I love the challenge …. Of breaking it down … left hand and right hand …. Best part is feeling the emotion and lyracism in his pieces … love the romantic pieces .. thank you

    What magnificent playing with so much feeling and artistry!
    There is an Affection, rather than a Love, in me for Chopin nocturnes that cultivated my taste in music, taught me first to notice its beauty, then to enjoy, and
    finally to appreciate. To have an Affection you need to go through the entire experiences..
    Perfect piece for a lovely start for autumn. I will open an old book and have this piece
    as a background music! Thank you.

    I’ve always believed teaching was it’s own art form. Beautiful job with this nocturne ... both teaching and performing. Thank you.

    Never seen something like this before. Great idea that it is you are playing in the background. :) Thanks for your time preparing such a video.

    I plan to start working on this piece and you discussion about the three different levels is very informative. I probably fit in-between intermediate and early advanced. Thank you again..

    I love nocturnes because I am a night owl. I also love her voice. Ought to be an overnight radio show.

    Can you explain how pedal works on this piece? (it seems like you are not using pedal at all??)

    Is that normal? My first chopin piano piece that i have leaned was etude 10n4 😂

    • @JeewonLeepiano
      @JeewonLeepiano  3 роки тому

      Yes! If you build a good foundation of technique, and musicianship with a good teacher for several years, a chopin etude can be a good challenge! I think my first Chopin was 10-5? I can’t remember but it was definitely one of the first Chopin pieces.
