its a matter of perspective. she is kinda like a cat. a dog, if he havent seen you for a long time he would be over joyed and happy meeting you again. a cat how ever will lash out at you. like how dare you leave me. do you know what i went through while you were gone!? which is why she is so antagonistic towards him. spoiler!@@#$. . . . . . she is probably in love with him. he feelings is so strong that it changes her dark magic, which is formed by desire. and hers is to be with him. it allows her to fuse with him or be equipped by him. mc has a habit of equiping girls. the fox on the back for future sight. a owl on his shoulder for binding magic and resistance magic. and the demon fused with his robes.

She does though, she now has a more active everyday life, is becoming a better warrior and is not isolated. She also has a friend who healed her and is constantly looking out for her. Rose still terrifies her though 😅

To be fair they bring up a fair point that if the healers aren’t strong enough to defend themselves then they can’t really be able to go out and save others and Usato fight with Felm kinda proved it. He was able to be fast enough to grab them and move them out of harms way and strong enough to carry them while still being able to move around quickly, to be fair it was lucky his magic was literally the perfect counter for the reflect magic her armor used and after all that strength training it’s to be expected his punches should send people flying. To be fair the only reason his muscles can do what they do is cause he can repair the muscle fibers right as they are being stretched out or torn so he’s always working with newer muscle tissues and thinking about it now makes me realize how op healer magic could be when used like that
Apparently healing magic is the rarest variety and the main character is the only other person aside from his teacher to have the proficiency in healing magic to survive the insane training routine she puts him through.
@@detectivefoxley9912 It's not just the proficiency, there's a number of healing mages who have said proficiency to heal themselves and others so they can keep going, but none of them have the same mentality that Usato and Rose has to push through their limits on sheer power of will via stubbornness alone, which is what is needed for Rose's training regime.
Healing magic is super rare and the few that do have it generally dont even know it is possible to be used like Rose and Usato do. Even if they do, few have the willpower to use it or train like that either. In other places in the world there is a culture where healing mages and other "weak" types of magicians are bullied and looked down on. You can easily imagine exactly how thats gonna go with Usato being present yes?
