You are not stupid. You just don’t see things first time around. For the audience it is great entertainment…..especially when we know before you do. Love your style, fan for years.
A high quality 72 hour bag is something people should have in their trucks if they drive in areas that are seclusive as it could absolutely save your life if the right set of events happen. I used to have a 1.5 hour drive to and from work I Maine and 50 miles of that drive you might not see another car. I carried a survival bag that I put together that would sustain me in every way I needed for 3 days. Bark river knife and a cold steel SRK in 3v, a silky saw and a hatchet and a ham radio with extra battery and a foldable 100w solar panel. Food, water and water tablets and a filter straw and bag plus gear for making a shelter and staying dry and warm and of course 2 fire making solutions and a tin of fat wood. Basically I could have been out on a - 40 night and be able to survive for 3 days if anything was to happen. Knowing that at worst case I could realistically be out there for a night before I would be helped but had plenty of reserve to make it longer should it be needed. This here looks like more of a kit that's for camping and is low quality across the board. My survival kit was setup extremely well and with proper high quality gear. I live in a highly populated area now in south GA so no need for gear like that realistically but I still keep a survival bag in the trunk given it's not nearly as large but definitely capable of getting me thru a freezing night should something bad happen and I'm stuck.
lmao i thought the exact same thing, could also be very useful for digging a hole for fires incase of high winds, something like a rocket stove could be dug out either way could be very useful
the shovel is good for stuff if you need to make a shelter in snow or such (by digging a hole you can lay down in helps alot in a storm et.c or if its cold), or even dirt depending how much time you've got.
The "hatchet" has a convex blade, probably inspired by an "ulu" a type of skinning and dressing knife used by Eskimo peoples mostly for larger and fatter animals of the northern regions like whale, seals and bear.
Me and my wife use an emergency crank. Radio in San Diego, when all the power in the entire county went out for about 12 hours, they came in very handy.
as for the fire starter kit... that big silver brick attached to the rod is made of magnesium, usually... scrape some shavings off with the back of yer knife onto the tinder, WHAMO!... NOW THATS A FIRE!! wont matter if ya draw it to you or away, spark touches the magnesium, its supper time.
Your supposed to smack the hatchet into the wood with a rock or a piece of wood to split the log. The handles there to hold it until you get it started
Little shovel is for cat holes to poop in, digging up edible roots or critters that hide under ground, also for digging down to dry ground or in high winds to make a fire pit and could also be used for many other things. Even digging holes to put posts in when building shelter.
Eh, buying all that stuff piecemeal would be about the same, plus a decent backpack (assuming this is one) will run around $100-$200 alone. You'd end up with better stuff picking and choosing but that takes a bit of effort. This pack is more for people who will never use it.
Like sure pricy but it’s paying for convenience and no need to look to deep into it while still helping when it’s needed. Like for sure if you have the time and understanding you could make it cheaper & better but what you get for the price sure.
I dig watching you try to camp.I have a small camping channel, and I usually stealth camp a couple of days a week.its amazing how little you have to spend to rough it for a night.a tarp, food, small cot and sleeping bag, lighter, cookware, and machette and string should get you by for a night of camping or an emergency!🏕
In a survival situation with no way to cook your meal, you can just let it soak longer and have it cold. You'll still get the calories and nutrition to keep your wits about you (if you have any to begin with). It'll be much less enjoyable, but it'll keep you from hunger. You won't starve in three days, but you'll be flagging if you don't eat.
Instead of banging, the hatchet and wood onto something hard, use another piece of wood on the back of the hatchet like a hammer to drive it through the wood
I have a similar backpack. Best $40 I've spent in a long time. It's held up for almost 6 years, through rain, snow, and dessert summers. Only one buckle has broken and that was because I stepped on it. The "hatchet" is more useful as a big cooking knife or processing game if you sharpen it...maybe.
The pot you boiled water in is 24 ounces. There are 8 ounces in a cup. You have three cups of water right there for the larger, black bags of food. If you want it a bit wetter, boil another cup of water, add it to the pouch, and let it set to the desired consistency. Make sure you have a fresh water supply or you will be using up those little bags of emergency water pretty fast.
Im convinced this is all put together in a harbor frieght then neatly packed for preppers, you should see if you can make a better bag for the price =]
maybe next time you test one of those filtering straws you could put something like sugar or some kind of noticeable food type powder in some water to see if it filters stuff like that out?
The food that needed cooked could be cooked it gives you everything you need but the propane. That pot looked to hold maybe 2-4 cups it wouldnt be hard to figure out if you was SURVIVING.... lol
48 minutes of peak Content 🙏 we blessed. Love from Germany Tyler keep going have good day🤍🤝 (I think those Tests are even more Entertainment, cause there is sooooo much stuff WE dont even know from the beginning)
Not worth buying a pre-made kit. Re: what-the-frick shovel. You have to sh*t in the woods, and bury the excrement. From what I could tell the shovel bit is about the right size to dig down to. Overall, buy a Vanquest bag and then go from there. Pack minimal for weight and speed, but load enough to be safe in the conditions. - Make sure you throw in a pair of Darn Tough socks.
the little black three legged plastic thingy is to put your gas canister on to stabilize it on uneven ground. It should fit both the small and medium sized gas cans. We used to get those cookie/biscuit things in MREs way back in the day, and they were the best part of the MRE for some of them.
When you were talking about the food bars, I thought you were going to reference the movie Snowpiercer, but I'm begrudgingly glad that it was good and not buggy.
Yes, pull you ferro rod away. It shaves more off, concentrates the spark, and you have more control. Pushing does just what you did, and it creates a shower of sparks that may set surrounding tinder on fire. You may even extinguish the very fire you started. Anywho, that's a disaster prep kit, not a survival kit. A survival kit doesn't have all of that junk in it. A survival kit is something you have that, accompanied with a skill set, can be used to facilitate keeping you alive in dire straits. That kit is comfort in an environment with degraded infrastructure.
For $400 that "survival kit" should have a quality fixed blade bushcrafting knife and a .22 caliber rifle at the minimum, then a quality firestarter and medical kit, though I will say the lifestraw is a nice thing to have
Look up batoning with knives and look at that "hatchet" again. I agree it's not a hatchet lol. Those ridges on the back will make it now difficult but not impossible
72 hour hmm. Didn't see you four a few months. Didn't need a survival kit there, if you know what I m saying. Nice topic for me to jump back in to your content that I have always enjoyed. Big up beard bros.
with the "hatchet" while a crap design, youd be better off battoning it and with those hand chain saw things, get a small, green branch and make a bow out of it and use it like a normal saw
If you get hurt, and have an open wound of some kind, the number one thing you want is to wash it with soap and water to avoid infection. So makes sense it’s in the first aid kit. Idk why it’s gotta be a deodorant soap, but having soap for wounds is good.
You are not stupid. You just don’t see things first time around. For the audience it is great entertainment…..especially when we know before you do. Love your style, fan for years.
Should have tried filtering the soda through it.
Lmao yes

if i break down i'ma copy paste your comment to my amazon cart and hope the drone delivery finds me!
I’m a trucker and this video reminds me I need to have something like this as a long haul driver I end up way out in the middle of nowhere sometimes
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Tyler didn't know what the shovel was for, so we didn't have to worry about him taking a test poop? 😂
You could also use it to dig a pit/recess to build a fire in
Little shovel is for digging a hole to poop in.
lmao i thought the exact same thing, could also be very useful for digging a hole for fires incase of high winds, something like a rocket stove could be dug out
either way could be very useful
exactly!
I have that exact little shovel it's for planting small plants, nothing more nothing less.
Yup.. never leave your poop laying around
@@rmck6830that’s what you use it for. I use it to dig for poop that people leave in the ground
Firestarter block is magnesium; scrape shavings off and use striker to ignite
$400?, Buzz’s girlfriend Woof!
Underrated comment 😂
I think this means we need a tyler tube survival kit! Only the higher quality good stuff!
Yes. Get on that Tyler.
"this only works on the most common bottle nozzle in the world. it should work on all of them!"
WHAT? lol
the shovel is good for stuff if you need to make a shelter in snow or such (by digging a hole you can lay down in helps alot in a storm et.c or if its cold), or even dirt depending how much time you've got.
You're a creative genius, no joke!
The "hatchet" has a convex blade, probably inspired by an "ulu" a type of skinning and dressing knife used by Eskimo peoples mostly for larger and fatter animals of the northern regions like whale, seals and bear.
The nomenclature is Inuit, not Eskimo :)
LET'S APPRECIATE THE EFFORT TYLER PUT INTO TESTING THE FILTER
I appreciate Tyler touching the metal cup with boiling water in it, just to be sure the cup is hot. He's so thoughtful.
Me and my wife use an emergency crank. Radio in San Diego, when all the power in the entire county went out for about 12 hours, they came in very handy.

This drive me nuts. I figured for sure he knew how to use it🥲
Your supposed to smack the hatchet into the wood with a rock or a piece of wood to split the log. The handles there to hold it until you get it started
Yes man yes
Think the little shovel is to dig holes to Duce in…
I'm serious, we need longer videos. 2 or 3 videos a week, hour long
Tyler ain't yo daddy
Little shovel is for cat holes to poop in, digging up edible roots or critters that hide under ground, also for digging down to dry ground or in high winds to make a fire pit and could also be used for many other things. Even digging holes to put posts in when building shelter.
Bit pricy don’t ya think
Eh, buying all that stuff piecemeal would be about the same, plus a decent backpack (assuming this is one) will run around $100-$200 alone. You'd end up with better stuff picking and choosing but that takes a bit of effort. This pack is more for people who will never use it.
its not worth 400
Like sure pricy but it’s paying for convenience and no need to look to deep into it while still helping when it’s needed. Like for sure if you have the time and understanding you could make it cheaper & better but what you get for the price sure.
Well... 400 dollar tree items. Dollar Tree went up on their prices to $1.25 per item. So I guess it's a bargain right?
We all want to see the pickle slushy
When you spread the fire started to get it to go out the reason it crackled like that is because of the magnesium. Doesn't mix very well with water
Tyler opens a package containing a tube tent.
Tyler: "what the heck, it's a tube."
Love the longer vids.
We all want that pickle slushy

If you're stuck in the forest during a forest fire the face mask comes in handy, also if the temp drops below freezing, it can help warm your breath.
Instead of banging, the hatchet and wood onto something hard, use another piece of wood on the back of the hatchet like a hammer to drive it through the wood
Shovel is very handy! Dig post holes, traps, find food, and two essential things,.. a trench for water to drain around tent and a hole for waste.
DUDE!!! I want some of that super strong wood you got! 😂😂😂😂😂
We all want to see the pickle slushy

Wouldn't wanna be stuck on a dessert island with tyler
Im convinced this is all put together in a harbor frieght then neatly packed for preppers, you should see if you can make a better bag for the price
=]
I watch these when I feel stupid. Watching you makes me feel smart again.
If you ever come across a human pile of sh*t just lying there in the woods, chances are it may have been Tyler…. (Shovel, my man…)
Apparently Tyler has never heard of Dial, Irish Spring, Coast, Safeguard, Dove, Old Spice and way more deodorant soaps.
Hilariously, that tape at 3:40 is actually from Dollar Tree. Tool Bench is one of their house brands.
That rope is for lashing and tube tent
maybe next time you test one of those filtering straws you could put something like sugar or some kind of noticeable food type powder in some water to see if it filters stuff like that out?
That is a great idea. Koolaid or something.
The food that needed cooked could be cooked it gives you everything you need but the propane. That pot looked to hold maybe 2-4 cups it wouldnt be hard to figure out if you was SURVIVING.... lol
The larger pot literally says 24 oz on the inside of it. There are 8 ounces in a cup so he has three cups of water right there!
48 minutes of peak Content 🙏 we blessed.
Love from Germany Tyler keep going have good day🤍🤝
(I think those Tests are even more Entertainment, cause there is sooooo much stuff WE dont even know from the beginning)
An hour vid love it!!!!!
Youre probably the only one in the world that thought that there was a stick of butter in a med kit with a big red cross on it.
For something as small as the “hatchet” you would have to use a baton to split wood, can also be done with a large knife.
Deodorizing soap doesn't leave a perfume scent like hand soap, and is meant to cover your scent from predators or if you're hunting
It has different names biscuit, cookie and food bars for different countries and what they call it
Not worth buying a pre-made kit.
Re: what-the-frick shovel. You have to sh*t in the woods, and bury the excrement. From what I could tell the shovel bit is about the right size to dig down to.

Trash bag tent made me laugh so good. 😂
Tyler, if you actually suck in the wild, you love to have that stuff especially the food
In regards to the food bars. Most of the ingredients are just the chemical names for the essential vitamins.
💓 i love your videos man, thank you for uploading and getting me through tough times
When you were talking about the food bars, I thought you were going to reference the movie Snowpiercer, but I'm begrudgingly glad that it was good and not buggy.
That straw looking thing is to drink water from river or pond places that you would want to filter water 💧 it's not for bottles at all
Crunchy oatmeal soup, my favorite!!!!!
Please collaborate with Freakin Reviews!
James has asked & Tyler said no (or ignored him, which, in itself, is a no).
don’t insult james like that
Love the vid! Any chance you may use it to make another video “survival camp”
I like the way you think 👍
Totally agree
Yes, pull you ferro rod away. It shaves more off, concentrates the spark, and you have more control. 8:40 that radio host watching this video: 👁️👄👁️
"what kind of garbage is this" tyler might wind up dead...
One hour Tyler Club. I never get here thus early
OMG…Tyler is wearing PANTS?!?!?😂
Probably should have boiled the oat mill in the pot
On the brand new fire starters you need to scrape off all the black stuff before use. It'll say that I'm the instructions on the back
For $400 that "survival kit" should have a quality fixed blade bushcrafting knife and a .22 caliber rifle at the minimum, then a quality firestarter and medical kit, though I will say the lifestraw is a nice thing to have
You are incredible, don't stop creating content!
Thanks dude
It works well with a bottle with normal top like a soda
I want to believe that Tyler chugged all that Coke to empty out that bottle.
king of trolling
Now he needs to buy like a 1000$ survival kit and test that out in the woods for a weekend.
Who uses a hatchet, and a mini hatchet at that, to chop wood? You use an Axe for chopping wood!
You need to start selling "TylerTube Tents"
😂😂😂 watching a grown man laying in a garbage bag in his backyard 😂😂😂
Definitely made me laugh.
Are you sure those white tablets were kindling and not a compressed towel? You add water to them and they expand out to a large piece of fabric.
Look up batoning with knives and look at that "hatchet" again. I agree it's not a hatchet lol. Those ridges on the back will make it now difficult but not impossible
I wanna see you do a survival video with that bag and use everything in the bag as it's purpose!!!!
72 hour hmm.
Didn't see you four a few months. Didn't need a survival kit there, if you know what I m saying.
Nice topic for me to jump back in to your content that I have always enjoyed.
Big up beard bros.
There are a few useful items in there. But, my God, the kit you could build yourself for $400....including better food.
That was a pretty cool video,
Hey, try less water in that next time it will be way better. You can always add more water, but you can't take it back out
You should try to add some notes on the screen when you edit the final video.
with the "hatchet" while a crap design, youd be better off battoning it and with those hand chain saw things, get a small, green branch and make a bow out of it and use it like a normal saw
I think the hatchet thing is for processing animals
Finally super early to see my man Tyler!!
I'm REALLY going to trust a boy, reviewing a survival kit, who doesn't even know which direction is North at his own house.
Pssst honey wake up
Tyler posted a new video
That may be the first time I’ve ever seen someone use a wire saw and it didn’t break.
38:14 come on hit it like a man! 😂
Is this 48 minute video worth it? ❤❤
we NEED to see you survive vith that for an hour
Should've tested the filter by drinking the coke through it. Un theory you should get pure water.
crush up the food bar in hot water and make oatmeal or gruel.
My husband and I love you’re videos ❤
New record for "or sumpthin"s in this one.
that 'hatchet' is for smaller branches and twigs, I'm thinking, easier to gather and burn in a survival situation.
that 'hachet' is for chopping out a poop hole when the ground is too frozen for the little shovel.
@billynomates920 🤣
Love it when a city boy tries to use a tool
Maybe I’m ignorant. But what did I need soap for if I’m surviving 72 hours?
If you get hurt, and have an open wound of some kind, the number one thing you want is to wash it with soap and water to avoid infection. So makes sense it’s in the first aid kit. Idk why it’s gotta be a deodorant soap, but having soap for wounds is good.
@ would you really want to use soap like that with scents in it for a wound?
That freshscent soap, that you thought was butter, is the exact same soap that you get in Los Angeles county jail.
