Proud of you Mama! I homeschooled my kids (it will be 16 years this year) and it’s been a humbling and rewarding experience. My youngest has one more year of homeschooling, my middle child is attending a local university and my oldest is working in a corporation. English is my second language so I don’t know how I did except for the fact that God helped me every step of the way. Homeschooling can be very challenging and exhausting at times but trust me what you sow today you will reap blessings later. It will be all worth it!

Might be because “Gov’t education” is responsible for ALL the children, not just those blessed with health, wealth, and capable parents able to be present whenever needed…

Some people’s very best is only barely adequate for others. Let’s not pretend like equivalent and equal are the same thing…
This made me think about when my 4 siblings and I were little and we’d all sit down to do our school until my mom realized we had a dentist/doctors appointment 😂 it happens to the best of us
As a new mom watching your videos is so admirable, there’s so many amazing moms out there, it’s truly incredible how God created us. We are moms and we are unstoppable ❤
Amazon's learning section is a great way for parents to teach at home before our kids even start school or if u teach from home. They have learning games, dry erase books, something for every child, and a way to teach every subject. The dry erase is great for practice also. I had my twins at 1st & 2nd gr level learning when they started K.

Everything you do in the morning I am starting to do at night. I am a night owl and take a long time to wake up. So after all two of my kids are in bed I am watching my show with hubby and breastfeeding the baby, then when the baby is in bed we do some chores for the next day, do yoga, then get ready for bed, do some devotional and intentional prayer time, and then read a chapter in a book.
It depends on your states requirements. Some states you have to report other states don't care what you do. You can research your states homeschool requirements. I have never heard of a state requiring a certificate from the parent though.
Love this but I wish I can see how y’all keep houses like that so clean with multiple children? I have 2 toddlers And 1 10 year old and my house gets trashed after cleaning it.

I noticed she uses the good and the beautiful curriculum...but lot so people supplement with other things if needed and homeschooling is so nice because you can pick and choose which curriculums you want for each subject if you don't want to stick with one.
Most of the curriculum you can’t get on Amazon but I do have an ltk where I’ve linked some things from our homeschool room 🤗 search “unexpected.blessings” on ltk. Also I share more videos on my tiktok and Instagram both “unexpected.blessings” 🫶🏼

@Emmi B I'm not saying not go. All of the dental offices where I live are an hour or more away (and I have 6 kids) so that would never happen with my family even if we lived 15 minutes away. It's crazy to me that they can actually make it there in 15 minutes because where I live, that could never happen even with just 1 child.
@@katburns5773 if you noticed, they are an organized bunch so if the office is nearby -- she says get in the car and they go -- she never actually states that they get there exactly on time :-) they may have made it a few minutes late
