This upgrade kit is 90% of the reason I bought a Crankcase. Having a modern, Deluxe-sized Triggercon? Incredibly cool. Between that and the heavy retooling, I can put him and Skids right next to each other and no one would even guess they were the same(ish) mold.
Thanks for showing how everything works, I don't have the luxury to buy upgrade kits (the shipping is an absolute killer to get it up here) so I'm always curious to see how it all goes together, rather than just seeing a picture of the finished product. Great review PPR.
for the hubcabs you are supposed to put the hub cap on the glue dot first and then peel the back off the glue dot and stick it on. great review though. i got this set too and definitely improves the figure
Yeah, the glue dots stick onto the cover caps, and apparently aren't supposed to be attached to the wheel pin itself...? But hey, it worked out just fine the way you did it, so no worries!😅 The shoulder cannons though, when mounted in bot mode, and not deployed over the shoulders blasting away at 'Bots, can be flipped back, folded down and then flipped up behind his shoulders, instead of down behind his lower back and legs... they kind of "collapse" in, if you will... This is definitely an excellent set, and I already have mine, but now awaiting Crankcase 😅...! Just ordered the 3 Wreck-Gar/Junkion kits for my extra SS86 Wreck-Gar & Junkheap figures to make"Rubbish" & "Junkyard" (or something like that, lol😅), so I think my next order will be to get a Pointblank and the kit for him... I'll be customizing a couple of Battlemaster figures to replace the G1-esque mini-bricks he comes with, although word is that Nonnef's got something in the works to replace those guys too, so I may not have to waste my time doing those little custom Targetmaster figures afterall...!😁😁😁
a definite improvement in that, but not quite what I'm looking for unfortunatelly, expecially with the extra rates for european bit for robot mode alone, this absolutelly does what hasbro fall a bit short of
The upgrades for Pointblank are great and actually seem to save the figure, from all accounts. The replacement parts for the arms alone make the set worthwhile...!
The bigger guns already make it look better. Also did you find a way for the back kibble to slide down? As the thumbnail image and the last shot in the video makes it look like that, with how low the guns are positioned and all.

Thanks for the review. Your video has better assembly instructions than Nonnef's own video.
Wow, thanks!
I love the Sholder Cannon and his Vehicle mode is to my liking too

Yeah, I felt like a moron applying those. 🙃

Those shoulder cannons look great in Bot-Mode. Nonnef does good work with add-ons.
thanks for the video, I acutely licked out and got the last on in stock. Looking forward to putting it together
I hope you enjoy it.
Don't have this guy but, I love Nonenef. Sadly, they don't make too many add ons.

I like the hubcaps.
I prefered the Larkin upgrades since it's much more simplify.
Needs some toyhax sticker love now
Patriot, have you heard about any upgrades for Pointblank? He badly needs his engine block! (And maybe a piece for those hips...)
I saw that set when I was looking at this one.
Thanks, i'll check it out. Looking forward to seeing whar Toyhax can do for Pointblank also - and Crankcase, come to mention it.

Hopefully they make a white version for the leaked Medix!
Medix doesn't need shoulder cannons, he's not a Triggercon. 😉
@@PatriotPrimeReviews His needs are nothing compared to my wants. :P
