@@completemortonproject912 Dear guys... As one who grew up listening to the original 1920s Tank Town Bump in the late 1950s, and as music colleagues, Thanks ever so much for reviving this. You guys blow me away. I'm so grateful. You rock, not just as performance specialists, but like the same way Mendelson was when he brought JS Bach back into the public mind. It might be audacious to compare JSB to JellyRoll but that's just me.
Sadly most of it is in our brains (or forgotten!!!)... Just thought you might like to know we've made a beautifully recorded studio album of some of this stuff. Have a look! lejazzetal.com/shop/the-complete-morton-project/
I've loved this piece since I was 4 or 5 in the 1950s. Except for Jelly Roll's recordings, I've never heard one so perfect.
It's either this version or the original. They're tied for #1.
You two have documented a masterpiece. 🙏🏻👉🏽🎖️🏆🎆
you guys!! This is so cool
Thanks so much Angela! Have a look at our new record! lejazzetal.com/shop/the-complete-morton-project/
