Biggest Upsets of the 2022 March Madness Tournament

- These were the best upsets that happened during this years march madness tournament. It is currently the final four and North Carolina is still alive as the highest seed remaining (8 seed). I could've waited until the final four was over to see if the won any more games, but even if they beat duke and then either nova or kansas I would've view that as an upset. UNC is playing the best basketball out of any team left in this tournament. Anyways, hope you enjoy this video!

Disclaimer: this video was made before the Final 4. In my opinion once we get to the Final 4 the championship is up for grabs, so UNC beating Duke wasn’t an upset.
And kansas beating unc wasn't either.
If saint peters one the chipper😂😂😂😂😂
facts though
idk why people consider the 1985 championship a huge upset, it's the championship game and the two teams had close games with each other twice prior
George Masons 2006 run to the final four was pretty legendary
It was UNC was a fraud finals run, faced a 15 seed in the elite 8 and with almost the same team as last year are barely above 500. That was one of the biggest upsets of tournament
2 things:
1. As a Tar Heel fan, I was celebrating the entire tournament until the last 30 seconds of championship game. I cried during then.
2. That St. Peter's game with Kentucky made a LOT of Kentucky fans raging.
I'm a Tar Heel fan too. Honestly, I don't care that we lost the title, because we won the rivalry against Duke. There's nothing they could do in the next 30 years to top beating Coach K in his final home game, then ending his career in the Final Four
Upsets that always happen/almost always happen to consider when you’re filling out your brackets…
1 A 10 seed always wins vs a 7
2 A 11 seed pretty much/almost always wins vs a 6 (but probably not as likely as the other 3 on this list)
3 A 12 seed always always wins vs a 5 (no matter how good the 5 seed looks to be)
4 And a 15 seed almost always wins vs a 2 now
And upsets that very rarely happen to consider when you’re filling out your brackets…
1 Obviously a 16 seed winning vs a 1 (it only ever happened once)
2 A 14 seed winning vs a 3 (just like with the 16 vs a 1 this one doesn’t happen very often either)
3 And a 13 seed winning vs a 4 doesn’t happen very much but definitely is more likely than the 1st 2 on this list
Just some stuff to consider when filling out your brackets here in a few weeks but hey have fun everyone and have a great day ✌🏻out
Honestly I’m not surprised UNC beat Baylor. Manic and Davis really turned on to beat Baylor. Good game.
Saint Peter’s upsetting Kentucky was super satisfying because those Kentucky fans getting cocky got karma
You’re not lying, live in Lexington and fans are so extra here. Not the players, fans mainly
@@brandenbarnett6093 L take
@raidenlp7269 i dont understand what you’re trying to tell me. Are you saying KY lost?
@@brandenbarnett6093 I’m saying you acting like fans being supportive of their school/team is dumb
@raidenlp7269 supportive is fine, but arrogant, entitled, and disrespectful/abrasive to those that arent uk fans, isn’t. Not all are like this, but a lot are.
I did so terribly this bracket, only 400 points, second to last in my pool out of 26. And that was after I was 8th last year.
Could be worse I picked Kentucky to win it all
I don’t think anyone did well in this bracket lol
Was Saint Peter’s Elite 8 run the greatest upset story in sports history?
Loyola to the final 4
Miracle on ice...no debate
Best run hands down
One of the greatest

I was at St. Peter’s vs Kentucky! So happy I skipped school for it
The 11 seed is the highest seed to ever make final 4 and its been done 5 times. 4 of the 5 within the last 20 years
Love the video!!!
North Carolina over Duke should've been included

You guys had a good season I’m shocked Iowa beat you guys

@@DogeManYeet lmao same Iowa is overrated every year

I picked Miami to go to the elite Eight
I picked Auburn to win it all :(
In the future, a 16 seed will upset a 1 seed for the second time
It happened the very next year in 2023 when 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson upset 1 seed Purdue in the East Region
Carolina beat duke?
Jesus loves you 😇
Kentucky is the best no matter what
Gonzaga vs Arkansas game wasn’t a upset the better team won
The zags were favorites to win the natty all year. 100% an upset
@@highlights101 zags are overrated 🤷🏻♂ I’d it weren’t for St. Peter’s this tournament oiled have been boring
@@highlights101 Gonzaga is a bunch of chokers every single year. Nobody was surprised at all
@@ChiefBlue4298 history doesn’t matter in the fact of one has favored bet one doesn’t. Socially yeah “not an upset” works.
@@ChiefBlue4298 only Kansas, Duke and Kentucky have more tournament wins than Gonzaga since 2010. Such an ignorant comment you clown

@@ajschlem ok so then what about UNC over UCLA
Baylor only lost because we were missing our 2 best players
Notre Dame ain’t an upset
On paper it was
They had to travel across the country after a play in game. I’d personally call it an upset
@@highlights101 in contrast to comparison anything with duke vs North Carolina ain’t a upset ,now if we’re talking UPSET , I live near a peacock farm in Los Angeles and the morning of the Kentucky / St. Peter’s game a heard a peacock fly outside my house well guess what happened that night BUH BYE KENTUCKY
what about the fact that not once but TWICE during the 2022 cheerleaders had to save the game by getting the ball off the backboard ( Arkansas and Indiana )
