Thank you, thank you, thank you for the tip on using the large overlock spools of thread using a safety pin. I have a machine (very old) with a threading set up similar to yours. Fortunately I have a spool adaptor, to convert the old style conventional/wooden cotton reels to the new style thread reels (yes my very old machine is that old!). I never thought about using it to hang over the back of the machine and convert overlock spools. Duh!! 🤔😂

Ça doit sûrement encore exister encore aujourd'hui, mais avec des clandestins. D'où la nécessité de gagner des secondes sur le même geste. Bravo.
@@m3mo-yuh I realize that but it's a problem that doesn't need to be solved, just don't buy an oversized spool of thread in the first place. And speaking of thread, my own tip is to take a photo of your thread racks before going to the fabric store. I live 15 miles from town and would often find a fabric to buy, then, unable to remember if I have any matching thread at home, I buy more thread.. That is how I have ended up with 11 spools of slightly different shades of red thread, and over a dozen spools of black thread, multiple pastel shades of beige, lavender and turquoise.

Cuando el tamaño del hilo es más grande de lo normal, se coloca dentro de un vaso, pocillo o mugs y funciona perfecto.

Because the spool is to heavey ..i have serger thread too n i am.going to try this..spools spin when their used n that big wouldn"t be able to
