Hey Stacy! Thanks for such a great video. It's super helpful to see all the movements laid out like this! I was wondering if you had any tips or exercises that would help with making the lope and canter more adjustable? I'm looking for ideas to improve this area in a horse I lease and plan to show next season in Western Dressage and Ranch Riding.
I find going from the 20 meter circle to the 10 meter circle is working pretty well. The video I did on here Episode 17: Circles inside of circles is a great exercise. Give that one a try!
What spurs would you recommend for starting out... I am switching from english to western and just need a little bit more help pushing my horse into the bridle and lateral work, he knows the aids just gets lazy and a little dull to them. I need a little more then my leg can provide sometimes.. He and I are used to English spurs, little ones so just want something that will help a little but not be to much. Beautiful ride. Thank you!
Maybe its Popcorn...logged in and voicing his opinion! LOL! He was used in a photo shoot last week. He was over the whole 'star' thing by the time he was 4. When we shot photos for the Smart Start book he was all 'nope-not-looking-at-the-camera-I'm-bored'...much like photographing a teenager (I have 3 so I know this too)
Really love this year's video series and production! ❤
☕️Got my coffee....love watching you and little Willow perform these routines.🌹🦘
LOL! I did use the same music...more coffee!
